Hi Paulina, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
In 2017 I started my lash journey out of pure necessity because I had just moved to Florida from Canada. My aunt at the time already had an esthetics business and offered to train me in lashes. Well, what once was necessity, after a couple years turned into a passion of mine. The more I learned and the better I got, the more and more I loved lashing. As a single mom of 4, it hasn’t been an easy journey but I’m so fortunate to have acquired and mastered a skill that has sustained me and my family for years & more to come. In time, my passion for lashes became a passion for teaching. I’ve now trained dozens of women and lashed thousands with no intent of stopping soon!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Any entrepreneur will agree that it’s never a smooth road! I’m so lucky to have an at home business so I’m at least to blend being a mom and work if needed, but it doesn’t make it easier. There’s also never any assurance of business other than how much you invest into it! I’m responsible for marketing, booking, outreach, labor, inventory, social media, networking & so much more so clientele and work-life balance in life is never smooth or even consistent. Despite all that, I feel so blessed to have the skill and drive to persistently grow and maintain my business, all while being the best mom I can be.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Im a lash artist specializing in volume. I hand make my volume fans and have been training of artists my technique for years! Im extremely proud of my precision for lash application and ability to retain clientele. I’ve gained many 5 star reviews on both Google and my booking site with no complaints for years. Client satisfaction and comfort is my absolute #1 priority!
