Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittney Gregerson.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I was born & raised right here in Cedar City. I’ve worked since I was 16 — from office jobs to personal training to running heavy equipment (trackhoes, loaders & all!). But when I had my first son in 2024, life changed.
He arrived 9 weeks early and spent 32 days in the NICU fighting for his life. We brought him home on oxygen and a monitor for 6 months. I wanted to keep working — but not at the cost of missing these moments with him.
That’s why I started Magic Mixers — to build a future for my family, serve my hometown, and bring joy (and a lot of flavor) to Southern Utah events.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s hard running a business with a toddler but definitely always worth it. Growing the business is definitely a challenge but everyone has to start somewhere and I’m hopeful my business will continue to grow.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As the owner of Magic Mixers, I get to do what I love most—bring people together over great drinks and even better memories. Every event I bartend is personal to me, whether it’s a wedding, birthday, or backyard celebration. It’s not just about mixing drinks—it’s about creating a vibe, connecting with people, and making their night one they’ll remember. Every pour, every laugh, every toast—it’s all part of the magic.
When people ask what I do, I tell them I built my dream—literally. I designed and built Magic Mixers from the ground up, doing almost all the grinding, shelving, and painting myself. My husband helped some, but this was my vision come to life—every inch of it. I love curating menus of handcrafted cocktails and mocktails that fit each occasion perfectly. What sets me apart is that I don’t just show up and serve—I create an atmosphere. I bring creativity, attention to detail, and a personal touch that makes every event feel one-of-a-kind. Brand-wise, I’m most proud of how much heart and hustle went into building this from scratch—both the trailer and the business. I want readers to know that Magic Mixers is more than a bar on wheels—it’s a story of grit and creativity, and a reminder that women can build, create, and run something amazing with their own two hands.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
I definitely haven’t done all of this on my own. My husband has been my rock through every step—helping with the heavy lifting, offering ideas and advice when things got tricky, and supporting me when plans didn’t go quite right. He’s up early with me on event days, helping pack and unpack, and cheering me on even when I’m running on fumes. My best friend Athena and her husband Attila have also been absolute lifesavers. They’ve jumped behind the bar with me countless times—bartending, bar-backing, cleaning, running last-second errands—and often doing it just to help, not for pay. And then there’s my little sister, who’s always ready to step in at farmers markets, handling payments while I make drinks and coffees, usually at the last minute when I need her most. I truly couldn’t have built Magic Mixers without those four people—they’re my behind-the-scenes dream team, and their love and support mean everything to me.
