Life & Work with Hailey Starr

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hailey Starr.

Hi Hailey, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Art is something that has always had a special place in my heart. It’s been a part of my life that has always been there for me no matter what struggles I may be going through. Through art, I have learned so much more about myself and who I am as a person. Creating is something that just puts me in that “flow” like state. I love learning different art forms and skills. When I started taking some local classes I realized silversmithing had something of a divine and magical nature. I love making so many different pieces in varying mediums, whether it be creating an art piece or silversmithing crystals into jewelry. I started wanting to create more things, and specifically creations that made other people feel something too. I have so much love and passion for creating I wanted to expand more. About 7 years ago I started learning about energy and crystals. In 2020 I started learning silversmithing and loved the creations I could bring to real life. I also realized how impactful something as simple as intention can create a whole new energy to a piece. I started combining the love of creation with my love for crystals & energy and my main focus; to share it with others. It doesn’t matter where you come from or who you know, we all experience energy. Sharing positive energy and love is more important now than ever. Being able to create those things and share them with others is truly a blessing and I am so glad I can share the things I make using my intuition, intention and love with others.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I am lucky to be here and experiencing things. Even if it may be a little harder sometimes I know it’s important to stay strong and be positive. It’s all about how you look at it some would say! While it can easily feel like a struggle to unload by yourself and haul everything in a timely manner it can also be an opportunity to learn how to grow and prepare better for the future. Every experience is an opportunity. In the beginning, it was really hard to even just get myself out there and do it because of anxiety. I know I can say now the version of myself 5 years ago would be proud of me today. It’s important to show up for yourself and believe in yourself.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I create intuitive handmade jewelry, art, & divine apothecary items. I always feel proud when I hear amazing feedback from lovely people. What sets me apart from others is that every piece I create is infused with healing & positive energy. using sound frequencies, crystal grids, & Reiki each piece is genuine, one of a kind, and always intentional & made with love.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up I was always the kid trying to make friends with everyone. I enjoyed art and would tell people I wanted to be an artist when I grew up. Some would say a free spirit because I would talk to the trees and love animals and not much has changed about that.
