Today we’d like to introduce you to Yaneth Delgado
Hi Yaneth, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My passion for makeup and beauty started at a very young age, some even though it was too young but if you ask me makeup and fashion is universal and one’s self expression, is Unique as a matter of-fact it’s as unique as a finger print i can’t hold myself from expressing in an artistic way.

February 14,1990, my name is Maria Yaneth Delgado Cuadros. my entire life i had a dream to come to the united states or as we called it el Norte and live my American Dream to be on tv as a creative persona such as Tatiana and Mexican TV Novela actresses and singers like Selena. The dream was to make it here & that was achieved at the age of 10 in the spring of 2000 i left my mother and brothers behind to come here and live my dreams alone. I lived with relatives and grew up in Oxnard California. My style was and continues to be unique in a way that im not just a makeup artist i like to stand out i create the persona i intend to portray but also be who i feel myself to be, do, say or wear. i can create any idea that pops to my head from the Theme to the outfit hair styles. I like to do very editorial unique makeup looks that can be enjoyable not just because your a women but in an artistic perspective being the creative part behind the makeup and Pictures editing I believe it takes art skill and alot of unique personal creativity. I believe everyone has a i special talent im not sure if I found mine yet but i would say Art and Artists creativity, song writing, poetry, book writing and many unique skills i contain within me. It’s hard to describe where it all started. But I can sure tell you that it hasn’t been easy to be myself but I have never let that stop me in being who I am growing up I started doing poetry and song writing at the age of 10 and transferred my artistic skills into my personal style,
Makeup came to me at 12 when attending Haydock jr high, by my friends older sister that would get ready before High School Ruby! i started to wear her clothes and makeup eyeliner and porcelain white foundation with an over lined glossy lips and to top it off my eyebrows were definitely on the way so they had to get shaved off to rock the Christina Aguilera 2000 dirty brows i did get a whipping for it but just remember it was before the gen x area lol i also got bullied for it daily called payasa (clown) i would wear wigs and clothes that were not mine nor my size down the streets, well that and many more names that I will not mention because this article is not about them now!!! Here i joined Haydock news were we ran an entire production for the school news traveling to LA to be on a news station with the class it was great to be behind the scenes and study how TV production works so I would say this really helped me with being more confidence when it came to having the production knowledge behind the scenes of the artistic part.
I continued my journey to 9th grade 2004 at Oxnard High School, i would be the Makeup artist for homecoming prom Quinceañeras and my friends moms, I did everyone’s make up by now, and yes, I still had girls that would be very mean and bullying me my entire high school years but I never cared what anyone said. I just wore what I wanted to wear, i was always myself and yes this caused many altercations I know understand it’s because people can’t stand someone who is secure in their personal style or who is out of the box and wears the things that the average person wouldn’t and that is what I am all about!! they couldn’t stop me from being who I was.
At 16 i got my first job and I remember the owner of the restaurant which was Andy’s seafood on Hueneme Beach. Michelle was her name and like many others she loved my Makeup and asked me if I would please do her makeup. Of course I was absolutely honored too, and she was so sweet I worked there for a few months
I always enjoyed showing and sharing my makeup technique.
In Sep 2007 i moved to Ogden, Utah before leaving i remember the words she told me they never left my mind. I never knew what she meant because i couldn’t picture it. She told me that years from now (this being 2007 1 would be back with children. Being a famous makeup artist, she owned many businesses, & one of them was a private yacht for weddings & events, she told me how I would do Brides Makeup there Of course I had never envisioned this because I was just a silly teenager with no dreams, goals or ambitions, i’m pretty sure I was laughing.)
Moving, This is where everything changed but makeup and fashion never left my side moving here I reconnected with my cousins that growing up in California, as kids would hang out on vacations (Remember my Dream well as kids we recorded each other interviewing and pretending to be on TV we basically used to act like YouTube before YouTube was invented in 2001 singing dancing and getting ready on camera, (ps this videos exist in someone’s basement) coming back around them was the same they liked taking pictures and i loved getting ready.
Everything change shortly after when I became a mother at 19. Identity, dedicating myself to my children until I found myself as a lonely, depressed. stay at home mom of 3 with no friends it felt like the spark had left.
Facebook really changed that for me and my life, The way you can connect with people live!! I remember the first time I seen a person doing Makeup on Facebook live. I wasn’t very familiar with YouTube tutorials. And Facebook had just launched this future. I loved Makeup it just felt natural to me to go live and connect with ladies around the world doing Makeup because I knew that in my past that was something that really connected me and brought joy to me i know it sounds so weird to say that getting ready is my passion!
On June 6th 2016 i opened my Facebook Group Love Beauty. within the firs month i had over 10,000k members that were All Lady’s & that is where it all started, my inspiration was to go on Pinterest and get the most complex and complicated Makeup look and go and recreate it live whether it was movie inspired a famous singer or my own unique creation. Specializing in showcasing artists makeup looks & monthly makeup challenges for other ladies to participate and win monthly makeup competitions many influencers have actually gotten their start in my beauty group.
I went live on Facebook every day for the last six years, I started doing lives exclusively for my beauty group & 2 years later I moved to my public page Glitter love and beauty on. it wasn’t until this point when I actually started taking my content serious and taking pictures and actually having the confidence to create my own post on Pinterest.
I also joined Instagram after as Yaneth Glitter that’s when I started working with prestige companies receiving PR and contract deals to create exclusive content for them featuring their Makeup & hair products, clothing, skin care, and anything that fits my lifestyle. I also personally created my own Makeup brand Yaneth Cosmetics that has been feature by content creators around the world.
From starting in a corner in my bedroom to a beauty room in my house I have now open my Makeup studio in Clearfield, Utah Beauty Box By Yaneth where I offer exclusive Makeup services and glam shots for any Formal event. My journey as an artist feels like it’s just beginning each day, however reading this along with you I feel like my Destiny has always been set and each step has put me in this path.
I can happily say that I have not yet fully finished expressing myself artistically however I don’t think I will ever stop being and trying to be simply who i am born to be Just Me.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I believe I faced many struggles one of them being new to a country where I didn’t speak the language, and also growing up i faced alot of bullying by my peers to the point of what it seem like daily physical, altercations my entire high school. It was truly a nightmare, even wanting to go to school, knowing that there was going to be an issue with someone, not understanding that the issue was just being me being myself and expressing that through my fashion and style. I also battled severely mental health issues due to being a victim of SA as a child. I believe that my journey is and will continue to be difficult, but that’s just part of the process.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am able to create or re-create any Makeup look. I do not specialize in Fx Makeup at the moment, but I am pretty handy with what I am comfortable using and love doing artistic work that can make a wow statement. I believe that to get where you want to be you just have to begin and now having management companies on my social medias and being able to make an income and also collaborate and work with companies that I could only even dream of truly motivates me and inspires me most when it comes to creating my make up content specially because I literally just get to share with people me getting ready daily, the fact that my content reaches millions of viewers worldwide is amazing. And i now have my very own Beauty Studio where i can share my passion with the world.
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
I think that something surprising about me. that most people take in shock is that I have five children including two teenagers that is an aspect that really shocks my followers and clients most of them still think I am in HS when they meet me. I think skin care and self-care has a lot to do with that. I must also add my stunning and beautiful one and only daughter Yaneli has fallen in my footsteps. She started her YouTube channel at the age of five doing makeup tutorials and is currently still going creating artistic looks. It’s so amazing watching her. I don’t think many know that there is a mini me on the way.
