Today we’d like to introduce you to Jerry & Cristina Silva
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
This foundation was inspired during a visit to the Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, DC.
As the founders we were attending the ceremony at the law Enforcment memorial and other memorials through out Washington D,C, there was such an overwhelming sense of love for all those who have battled and put their lives on the line with courage and bravery to provide us protection.
A symbolic Lion and Lioness statute surrounding the names as protection of these fallen officers. Names that were recognized and many that weren’t. Each one with loved ones who they left behind.
The Foundation was formed with many supporters who believed in giving back and serving our community.
We give back to the following Lionheart’s
The Lionheart Gift Foundation was created to show appreciation by giving back to those who put their lives on the line, protect and serve our local communities and our country, in essence, a Lionheart.
Lionhearts are our local State of Utah:
Law Enforcement
Military
Firefighters
911 Dispatchers, and
Crime Scene Investigators
Who actively serve, are retired from service, or have survived a spouse who has served.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Well with our story and mission we find it amazing how business and the community get behind us! Only struggle we find as a board is getting the word out to the communities as a whole and to help all because we just can’t as much as we want to.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Jerry: I’m a retired police officer of 23 years, I now work for Delta Airlines, flying in the friendly skies
Cristina: CEO of Real Estate by Referral and Fractional OP’s Solutions & Consulting.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
We feel with the mission statement that we have and with more branding and eyes on what we are doing we feel that the outlook is very positive
