Hi Rachel, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’ve always had a fascination and deep interest in social media, mainly the influencing and content creation part of that industry.
In 2022, when I was on the market for a new career, I discovered URLgenius, the patented award-winning deep link solution for influencers & brands. They were hiring.. and I was interested!
It was the perfect fit for me. Since joining this insanely talented company, I’ve excelled in my career and I’m now building a dedicated team that specializes in expanding influencer and content creators social media businesses. (Many of our clients reside right here in Utah!) I’ve recently been appointed the lead of our Tiktok Agency Team and work directly with Tiktok and their team here in the US.

As I learned the in’s and out’s of content creation, and how lucrative of an industry this can be, I knew I had to start my own social media page dedicated to helping other’s grow in the online space. I started a TikTok account @RachtoRiches, and quickly grew to micro-influencer status. I post tips and tricks that Tiktok shares with me directly, as well as fashion and lifestyle finds within the Tiktok shop Marketplace. Between my bustling career with URLgenius and posting tips on social media, I’ve somehow found time to build my own lifestyle brand ‘Utah the Label’ inspired by this amazing state and the great American West. As I’ve built my business, I’ve enlisted multiple Utah based companies in my decisions such as the website design and photography. I’ll be looking to work with more Utah based companies as this journey continues. I’m dedicated to the authenticity of this brand and the reflection of Utah. Utah the Label is set to launch it’s own apparel line in 2025.
I find delight in helping those who may be in a similar situation that I was back in 2022. That situation being a longing to start an influencing or content creation career online but no idea where to start. I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The main struggle I have encountered is finding the energy and time to succeed in my career, side hustle, and building my own brand!
All of these bring me immense joy in different ways and juggling them (while trying to find time for my hobbies of fine dining, travel, exercising and skiing/the outdoors, friends, family and dog) is very difficult at times!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Utah the Label was born from my deep love of the state of Utah. The people, the mountains, the colors.
I’m and Ohio native who took a trip to Utah in 2013 and said to myself “I will live here someday”. Fast forward to 2017 and I made it happen. I’ve been here ever since!

Created by Rachel, the brand reflects her passion for neutral, minimalist, and affordable style.
From the sweeping landscapes of Utah to everyday moments, UTL embodies the essence of simple, effortless living.
Rachel calls Utah home, where she lives with her fiancé Joey and their Australian Labradoodle, Banksy.
Utah the Label (will) specialize in elevated casual fashion, as well as other lifestyle items such as travel, recipes and more. UTL will be a place for women and men with similar taste and style to find inspiration.
What sets us apart from others is I have yet to find a lifestyle brand inspired solely by the state of Utah with a founder dedicated to collaborating with other Utah based companies. Truthfully I haven’t looked much into what sets me apart, but I’m following my passion and for me that’s enough 🙂
I’m most proud of building this brand by myself as a busy woman, with my own funding out of a strong passion for this beautiful state. I do have a wonderful support system at home (my fiancee and dog) and I also couldn’t do it without them!
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I have always been extroverted, adventurous, outspoken and outgoing. My mother used to call me a “pistol” if that helps 🙂
I’m the oldest of 4 children (we have 2 sets of twins!) I’ve always liked to be in control. I’m (most of the time) cool, calm and collected.
I’ve always had a positive mindset.
School was never my thing, but the social aspect was 🙂
Is it possible to be interested in everything? Because I am and pretty much always have been. I love to learn.
Me now:
I don’t follow the crowd and I was never convinced that you had to live life just one certain way. I’ve always wanted more than the regular 9-5 grind, one vacation a year and saving for retirement.
I’m dedicated to being proud of myself.
I have a strong belief that everything that happens to you and every person you meet can teach you something valuable.
I am always excited to see what’s around the corner for me.
Life is an adventure and we can make our lives whatever we want them to be.
