Today we’d like to introduce you to Angie Rowan
Hi Angie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
After being laid off after many years from the mortgage industry in October 2022, I felt lost and disillusioned. However, in January 2023, I decided to reinvent myself and turn my long-time passion for interior design into a career and I enrolled in the Interior Design Institute, graduating last November.
Since then I have built my business and it is steadily growing with various types of clientele and interior design projects that are meaningful to me.
Everybody has a story and so I try to bring that out in each project and design that I consult on and bring to life.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
As the President and founder of a local pin-up-inspired social group, I’m used to leading a team.
However, freelancing as an interior designer is a different challenge—where I handle everything from design to marketing and business operations.
While it’s been demanding, I’ve navigated it well and learned that finding balance as a small business owner often requires exploring different strategies and approaches.
As you know, we’re big fans of Ārow Vision Interiors. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
My interior design business is all about bold, maximalist aesthetics with a strong focus on mid-century modern and contemporary styles.
I’d like to think what sets me apart from other designers here in Utah is my ability to create bold, layered, and highly personalized spaces so when the job is done, my clients feel inspired, empowered, and truly at home in their space.
I pride myself and my business on my slogan ” Design that Hits the Mark, Every Style, Every Vision”
I provide a personalized and collaborative design experience. My process ensures that each client receives tailored design solutions,
I also focus on sourcing unique, high-quality pieces that stand the test of time.
Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
Absolutely, due to the aftermath of covid the economy suffered especially the mortgage industry and that led to me getting laid off but being able to realize my true calling which is my current business now.
