Today we’d like to introduce you to Abby Combs
Hi Abby, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
After begin a part of scaling a small business for a friend of mine from $1 million in yearly revenue to $20 million in revenue in under 4 years, I decided to stay home to be with my young kids. While I loved being with my children, I quickly had friends and family asking for marketing advice, tips & tricks, and help getting it all done and I knew I wanted to use what I had learned and implemented the last 4 years to support these young businesses grow. I truly love helping people and so I jumped into answering their questions and after about 6 months of finding all sorts of people to work with, I was getting more work than I could handle myself and decided to hire my first employee- an intern that came 10-15 hours a week.
E-Studios was born to help small businesses with their marketing efforts, to help them be seen, and to support entrepreneurs as they build something they feel called to build. It’s now a full marketing firm with 6 employees and over 15 clients at any given time.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not. And at time, definitely yes. Such is the entrepreneur’s journey right?! I remember in September of 2021, our world came crashing down (within the walls of our office at least) when we grew way too fast! That summer was full of opportunities and being the young business owner I was, I took every opportunity that knocked on my door. Between taking on projects I didn’t have total expertise in to taking on more clients than our team could handle, we grew and grew too much!
Because of this, we were on the verge of loosing a lot of money and after fighting hard to save it, we ended up loosing 5 client retainers that totaled over $100,000 in yearly revenue. However, and I can say this now over 3 years later, that this exact experience forced us to create systems, processes, and clear expectations for our internal team and our clients.
Those systems and processes are still used today and we’ve more than made up for that lost revenue because of it.

E-Studios is a marketing firm specializing in email marketing and holistic marketing strategies. We partner with health and wellness e-commerce brands—like supplement, skincare, and fitness companies—to build, manage, and scale high-converting email marketing strategies that drive revenue and retention.

We also make sure to plan our our clients marketing strategies 4-12 weeks in advance so they can take that strategy and implement it on all marketing channels in enough time to get ahead of trends and best practices.
We truly love our clients, love what we do, and our doing our best to grow WITH our clients which I know stands out to them and sets us apart from other traditional agencies.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Great question! And for a mom who is in a constant state of helping others around her to be happy, it’s hard to take a second and think of myself first. I find happiness when I spend a full day at home with my family on Sundays. With no where to be, and no crazy carpools or deadlines, Sundays are my favorite days with my family.
I also love the little things like a crisp Diet Coke with extra ice and a lemon, sunshine and lots of it, palm trees, traveling somewhere new, lunch with close friends, dinner with my husband, reading with my youngest, and the little things in-between every day.
