Established in 2021, Nomadic Ink is an upscale private studio located in Midvale, Utah. Founded by Sarah Swank and Reno, our studio is more than just a place for tattoos—it’s a welcoming space designed to inspire creativity and foster connections among artists and art lovers alike.
At Nomadic Ink, our mission is clear: to enrich our community through education and resources, whether you’re an artist or simply someone who appreciates art. We take pride in collaborating with talented artists and brands from around the globe, creating a vibrant network that transcends borders.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s been as smooth as it can be! Of course, there have been bumps along the way—nothing worthwhile is ever easy—but we are eager to keep moving forward. Our amazing artists and business partners bring incredible energy to our space, making it all possible.

What sets Nomadic Ink apart from a “stereotypical” tattoo studio?
At Nomadic Ink, we go beyond just being a tattoo studio; we cultivate a collaborative creative space. We actively host guest artists and encourage them to travel and stay with us, fostering a vibrant exchange of ideas and styles. We love networking and creating connections within the artistic community, which is why we host art nights and classes to engage local talent and provide opportunities for artistic growth.
Our recent collaboration with Nomad Alliance exemplifies our commitment to community involvement and support for artists. We believe in creating an environment where creativity thrives, not just through our tattoos, but by connecting with various brands and artists from around the world. Just keep going! Life will always throw challenges your way. We’ve faced our own struggles along the journey, but the key is to keep moving forward with your goals.
