Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremy Eveland
Hi Jeremy, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I grew up in Southern California, about an hour north of Los Angeles, as the third of six children. My childhood was filled with activities like roller-skating on beach paths and surfing in the Pacific Ocean. I also cherished the times I flew with my grandfather, including memorable flights over Disneyland. I am currently married and have four children, two boys and two girls.
My passion for reading and learning has been a constant throughout my life. This drive led me to pursue higher education, where I earned both an MBA and a JD, equipping me with a comprehensive understanding of business and law.
Professionally, after law school I was honored to work with Justice Mark W. Gibbons at the Nevada Supreme Court. Afterwards I started my own private practice. I am licensed to practice law in Utah, Nevada, and California. I serve as general counsel to businesses, focusing on areas such as estate planning, real estate law, contract law, HR compliance, business succession, intellectual property, and related laws. My clientele ranges from medium businesses to large corporations, and I am dedicated to helping them navigate the complexities of the legal system to achieve their goals.
In addition to my legal practice, I conduct training workshops as a business consultant, assisting attendees in finding solutions to some of their toughest problems. We work through systems thinking, creating mental models to create proper processes that lead to predictable results. This blend of legal and business working knowledge allows me to provide comprehensive support to those I work with.
Throughout my career, I have remained committed to continuous learning and personal growth, always striving to better serve my clients and community.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Like most people, my journey has had struggles. For example, my wife and I were unable to have children. We wanted to have a large family and we had to engage doctors, which eventually gave us our first child. After that emotional rollercoaster we realized that adoption was the path we needed to take. Opening our hearts and our home to an additional three wonderful children has been incredibly rewarding and transformative. Each child brought their own unique spirit and energy, enriching our lives in ways we never imagined. While the struggle to conceive was difficult, the love and joy we’ve found through adoption have made our family complete, teaching us resilience, compassion, and the true meaning of unconditional love. And don’t think the struggles are over. We still face challenges each day.
