Meet Chris Bryce of Salt Lake City

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chris Bryce

Hi Chris, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Our Collective got started because we noticed a lack of economic equity in our communities across the Salt Lake valley when it came to accessing perinatal care. A few of us got together and started brainstorming models for what we could create. We noticed how everyone had a different niche that they were passionate about and we wanted to be able to support everyone’s ideas and bring them to life. When you come to our Collective for support, you’ll notice our scope of care is broad – this is because we have a variety of passions represented on our team. Our model not only includes economic equity for our clients. including scholarship options, it also is equitable for everyone on our team.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
With many impassioned folks on our team, we all seem to fill all the gaps where that is needed. Through collaboration and stepping in to support each other consistently, our road has been fairly smooth.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Our group offers care and support to our community in a perinatal context: supporting individuals and families in areas including fertility, contraception, abortion, pregnancy, live birth, miscarriage, and through postpartum. We support families with young children by offering in-home childcare, a community playgroup, and by redistributing resources. We offer post-op support to folks who have undergone gender affirming surgeries, We offer meal preparation services to families who may need that extra support around birth.
We have been most proud of our ability to offer our services in a way that creates economic equity across our client body through sliding scale pricing and scholarship options.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
