Today we’d like to introduce you to DeadxLonely
Hi DeadxLonely, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I got started from listening to artists like NF, Logic, Kendrick Lamar and even OGs like Ice Cube and Snoop Dogg. I was very drawn to writing lyrics and putting my emotions down onto the pad from a very young age. I had all these little composition notebooks I’d write my rhymes in for the longest time because I never had a smart phone to do so. I’d even use my mp3 player to listen to instrumentals that I’d downloaded off the internet (Legally I should add lmao). Though, it really feels like I’m just now stepping into this industry and seeing all the sides of it. I gotta say I’m excited as hell to see where it takes me and my team because I just want to create something that the fans will love, and my bank account will appreciate.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I wouldn’t say it’s been a smooth road, no. There’s lots that comes with being a musician that gets over looked by a lot of people and so it takes someone particular to do so. It’s not just writing the lyrics down because anyone can sit and “ Dr. Seuss” their own stuff up. It’s the whole lifestyle and come up that shows if you got it, to be real. Like from day one my destiny has been predetermined as I’ve seen with what life has thrown at me. My home town friends all said it’s the perfect backstory for me and my career because I’ve been through so much that it’s made me and my music into what it is today. I’ve struggled with abuse, addiction, depression, anxiety and a bunch more but those are just to name a few. But, I don’t use it as a thing that holds me back. The reason I say it takes someone particular to be a musician is because the way you have to be able to handle all the pain and redirect it into art is something hard not many can do. You have you put your emotions on display for everyone, all the time. So there’s no secrets. And that to me is oddly refreshing. It allows me to show people how good of a person I am since where I come from being a musician, like myself, is kinda looked at as, I don’t wanna say bad but, just not the norm- and no one believes it will go anywhere. Little bit of a footloose situation I guess lol.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
My name is DeadxLonely and I am a rapper/musician, I’m known for my music and Internet personality from when I occasionally go on lives. I promote my music and brand on TikTok, Instagram, X, Etc. and a lot of people have been following along and discovering me through those platforms. I’m definitely most proud of my music and the progress it’s made so far. I still have so much to accomplish and learn, but I can tell I’m at the start of something amazing and I have a very fruitful and wild ride ahead of me. The only thing I’ll say that sets me apart from others is: myself. You can find a million other “artists” everyday, but you will never find one like me. That’s The lonely World Guarantee.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Patience. If you can master the art of waiting, you can have the world. Because no matter what comes at you or what happens in life, everything is going to come down to being a waiting game at the end of the day. So if you can master being patient, by extension you’ll master the art of no worrying, because you know it’ll all work out eventually.
