Today we’d like to introduce you to Ty Brady
Hi Ty, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I grew up with eight sisters and two brothers, and I was third to the youngest. My parents always did a great job of providing the necessary things to grow up food & roof over my head, etc.. I knew that if I wanted anything other then a roof over my head and food in my mouth, then I would have to go to work and provide for myself. I started out working hard at a young age from selling candy on the street lemonade stands, mowing lawns picking up trash anything that I could do to provide money in my pocket, so I could get the things that my buddies had like video games clothes, etc.
I graduated from high school as a junior and went straight into college. By the age of 18. I had my associates degree when my other buddies were still finishing up high school.
I went on to finish my bachelors degree and applied science an industrial design.
After completing college. I got a job with a general contractor in their designed apartment designing residential and commercial dwellings. After about a year, I realized the amount of money and earning Potential was not enough. I asked if there was another position I could work towards and they gave me a shot as a superintendent overseeing subcontractors that did the work after about another year, they saw my potential and put me ahead of all of the production. Two years in I became in charge of the operations and production for all of the development and overseeing all of the construction projects we were doing at the peak. We did $33 million in revenue.
That was short-lived because of 2007 2008 when the housing bubble burst, I was out of a job and out of a paycheck. I spent the next year working 17 different jobs trying to provide enough money to feed my family. when I was introduced to the insurance market. In 2009 I received my insurance license and went to work. It was not always roses. I took the insurance test 11 times and failed it and finally passed it on my 12th attempt. From 2009 to 2010 I learned what different types of insurance products were out there and different lines of insurance I gravitated to helping people aging into Medicare or already on Medicare with the health insurance. For five years I personally produced production and recruited a little in 2012 I went all scaling my agency. Currently today I have 2500 agents that have a contract with me. I am leading agency in the country. Year or year. My job now is to recruit and training agents all over the country to do the same thing that I am doing. It’s called the power of duplication.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road has been tough, but the sacrifice has been worth it.. example would be when I started out. I was a captive agent. I would go out and write a deal I would make $100 in my up line would make $400. They also owned my book of business. I did not have full autonomy to contract with whoever or hey higher commission. After about nine months, I decided to leave that agency and went with the agency. I’m with currently now today. I walked away from $38,000 in payable commissions that they kept because I left.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I am a leading agency that helps people aging into Medicare or already on Medicare Select their health insurance plan. We also assist people getting on what it is called ACA or Obama care.
This is how we help consumers.
Brady insurance marketing, also recruits and train agents to do the same thing to help consumers get on health insurance products and ancillary products to fill the gaps in their insurance plans.
I am known for helping consumers get on the products and services that work best for them.
I am also known for helping individual agents and agency owners scale their business to an income & lifestyle that most people never will.
What set this part is the way we serve the client or the agent, in resolving whatever heartburn they may have.
My last name & leave a lasting legacy.
When you provide a service, the money is just a byproduct of providing the service.
Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Some of my best childhood memories is knowing that I could go to the store with my hard work I did and purchase the things that I wanted and desired on my own without anybody telling me no.
Pricing:
- When you use a licensed insurance agent to help you select a product, it does not cost you any additional money
- There’s a big misconception out there that insurance agents cost money.
- If you buy something online over the phone or through the mail, it’s the same cost and there’s somebody getting a commission on the backend.
