Daily Inspiration: Meet Jenna Wright

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenna Wright.

Hi Jenna, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Remember that scene from Beauty and the Beast where Belle decides to reread her favorite book with far off places, daring sword fights, magic spells, and a prince in disguise? For a lot of us book lovers, Belle embodies what we feel for a certain book or a certain series that we go back to time and time again to read. Many of us have a “go to” feel good book. What if I told you that you and I could collaborate on making a special cover for your favorite books?

Imagine your favorite quote, scene, objects, and details from your favorite book displayed right on the cover. Then imagine picking out the colors and helping design the book cover of your dreams! Is that something you would enjoy? Because that is exactly what I love to do!

I take books, rip the original cover off, design a new custom cover, then rebind it all back together! Voilà, your favorite book now has its very own, one of a kind, custom made cover. My love for reading and art combined into one beautiful process!

How did I get to this point?

I’ve been married to the most encouraging and loving husband I could have dreamed of for 8 years. He has always been supportive of me trying new things and finding what makes me happy. Two years ago I started using my art to make stickers, and I had all these big ideas and dreams that unfortunately did not come about. I was shy and did not share my creations with others.

Then, last year I became pregnant with our first baby. I dreamed of creating art and finding a way to work from home to be with my baby boy. I wanted to connect with others and bring happiness into their lives. That is when I happened to came across a video of someone rebinding a book and making their own book cover. I proceeded to watch multiple book rebinding videos to try and learn the process. To say I became obsessed is putting it mildly. It finally felt like I found my niche.

I am no longer shy about sharing what I create. Better yet, I love the opportunity it gives me to connect with the beautiful people in the book community! Check out my page and reach out if you want to create something fun and magical together!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t always been smooth sailing. There are a lot of steps in rebinding a book, and things like measuring, cutting, designing, and getting the placement just right really matter. It took me a handful of tries to get comfortable with it all. But with each book, I picked up something new. Now I can focus on the little details that bring the cover together and make the book feel just right!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
What I love most about creating and rebinding books is the chance to turn a client’s favorite parts of the story into something they can hold—something beautiful and meaningful on the cover. I’m all about the details and never settle for something generic. My covers are intricate and symbolic, carefully designed to reflect what’s actually written inside. I take a lot of pride in how much care I put into each book, making sure every thing the client wants is there. What really sets my work apart is that every book is completely customized—no copy-past designs, just something made uniquely for that person and their story.

What does success mean to you?
To me, success is simply finishing something you can genuinely feel proud of—no matter how big or small. It means even more when it brings a bit of joy to someone else along the way.
