Hi Tyler, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was ALWAYS an animal lover. Growing up, I could never have anything that wasn’t in a cage. I had fish and hermit crabs. I would go to the pet store frequently, as it was my TOTAL happy place. Even the fish store that was called The Aquarium in Sandy. Not the Living Planet Aquarium, but an actual fish supply store. But I had NO idea what my pull was.
I remember getting my first dog right after graduation from high school. Then I moved out, left him with my dad, and went on my way. Fast forward to 2019- I rescued two French bulldogs (except I think they rescued me). I put them on my vision board 2 weeks before a friend told me about them! Not knowing what kind of rocketship or seed these little babes were planting for me.
I went and picked them up and welcomed them into my home. In 2021, I was out of town, and one of my rescues ran away from the dog sitter and was hit and killed by a car. Leaving me in a puddle of grief, anger, and honestly, feeling shredded to pieces.
The guilt I carried during this time was horrible. It wasn’t until I was in Byron Bay, Australia, on her death anniversary that I found myself processing the grief for the first time. Crying is all great, but if you don’t acknowledge the emotions, you are just crying. As I was walking through the most easterly point of mainland Australia, I asked her for a sign. All of a sudden, she sends me an Australian Water Dragon! The meaning behind that is “bringing peace where there once was war.”
Fast forward to June (a few weeks later), and my other sweet girl was getting ready to prepare to cross. I told her, “Tell me if you’re ready so I can make it as comfortable as possible.” The next day, I finished up arms at the gym, and got ready to do cardio- and hear “I’m ready” but it was such an up and down rollercoaster- so I didn’t know if I was making it up or not…. So I hired an animal communicator.
The animal communicator talked to my sweet girl and helped me understand when she would be fully ready.. She would send me the color purple. With requests of daisies (both girls’ fave flower) and soft melodic music in the background with Stella (her sister’s ashes) nearby, and to be done at home. (My pup they sent shortly after Paris crossed- her name is Daisy, and it fits her PERFECTLY). After the crossing of my sweet Paris girl, I found myself at a Tony Robbins event, beginning a personal development journey. To then found myself enrolled in an NLP (neuro-Linguistic programming) training. On my birthday, a few short months later, I landed a relationship with my now fiancé. Those little magical pups delivered me a dream I had wanted since a kid.
2.5 years later, I found myself in Bali for a retreat, where a dear friend did some shamanic work with me. Bringing in Animal Communication and Animal Medicine (a shamanic practice). Mama Bali, during a sacred water ceremony, blessed me with the ability to speak the messages few are willing to hear, and it’s those from our animals. My sweet Paris and Stella helped curate this experience for me to be able to help deliver the messages so many wonder about.
Those dogs created a journey for me to step into my true authentic self, and here we are- delivering the messages of our fur friends and pets or animals that have crossed over to the rainbow bridge. It is truly the most incredible and impactful business to be in! Helping YOU understand your pets!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I pushed and pushed to create a coaching business. This is where I thought I needed to be, all while my full alignment was to be with the animals.
After being the youngest sales leader and most sought-after escrow officer, starting my own business was a risk. Leaving a paycheck that was guaranteed was scary. I was kicked in the face when my company decided to close its doors in Utah, and my fiancé told me to take the leap of faith and do my own thing, heal what I needed to heal. It was uncomfortable, scary, and rocky.
