Sidney, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
From as early as I can remember, I’ve always dreamed of being part of the entertainment industry. My heart has always been drawn to the camera—there’s something magical about bringing stories to life on screen. As a little girl, my mom would take me to local commercial shoots, and theatre productions. I still remember the excitement and joy I felt each time. Those early experiences sparked a passion that never faded. Over the years, I’ve worked tirelessly to carve out my place in this industry, and every step has been a part of the dream I continue to chase today. I genuinely love being in front of the camera—whether I’m modeling or acting, each brings a different kind of thrill. Modeling allows me to express emotion through stillness and movement, while acting gives me the chance to step into different lives and tell powerful stories on film. Both have become creative outlets I truly enjoy and feel inspired by. This past spring, I had my first opportunity to model for a shoot in the stunning landscapes of Utah, working with a talented group of photographers from across the country. It was an unforgettable experience—one that not only pushed me creatively but also helped me grow professionally. Adding these images to my portfolio has been incredible. The scenery, the energy of the team, and the chance to be part of something so inspiring made it truly exhilarating. It reminded me exactly why I love this industry and how much more I’m excited to explore.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all—my journey has definitely not been a smooth road. For every “yes,” there have been a hundred “no’s.” This industry is full of challenges and rejection, but I’ve learned to see each setback as a stepping stone. I’m still working tirelessly toward my dream, and I truly eat, sleep, and breathe my goals as an actress. The passion I have for this craft keeps me going, even when the path gets tough. I know that every audition, every experience—whether big or small—is part of building something bigger. One of the biggest struggles I faced was finding the right representation. I auditioned for several years, putting in the work and training, all while trying to connect with a reputable agency that believed in me as both a new actress and model. After relentless effort and staying focused on my craft, I finally signed with Marilyn’s Agency in Greensboro, North Carolina—and they have been absolutely amazing. Having a team that supports and understands my vision has made such a difference, and it’s been a huge step forward in my journey.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m an actress and model with a deep passion for storytelling and self-expression. Whether I’m in front of a still camera or on a film set, I pour my heart into every project. I specialize in commercial and lifestyle modeling, and I’m actively building my career in film and television. What I’m most proud of is the relentless drive and resilience I’ve developed over the years.
What sets me apart is my dedication—I don’t just work hard, I live and breathe this dream every day. I’ve trained, auditioned, faced rejection, and kept showing up, always willing to learn and grow. I bring positive energy, professionalism, and a strong sense of authenticity to every shoot or set I’m on. I think people notice that I’m not just chasing fame—I’m chasing the opportunity to connect, inspire, and be part of meaningful creative work.
Signing with Marilyn’s Agency in Greensboro has also been a proud milestone for me. It’s opened new doors and validated years of persistence. I’m excited about what’s ahead and grateful for how far I’ve come.
What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is keeping God at the center of everything I do. My faith grounds me and gives me purpose, especially in an industry that can be unpredictable. My family is incredibly important—they’re my biggest supporters and the ones who keep me grounded. I also prioritize healthy living, both physically and mentally, because staying balanced helps me show up fully in every area of life.
My career is something I’m deeply passionate about—I’ve worked hard to get where I am, and I’m excited for everything that’s still ahead. My friends mean so much to me as well; they bring encouragement, laughter, and a sense of community I truly value.
And I can’t forget my pets—especially my 4-year-old long-haired miniature dachshund, Lola. She’s full of personality, keeps me smiling, and is truly part of the family. Having her by my side makes even the busiest days better.
