Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Well, it all started in Nashville. Walking down the streets admiring everyone’s outfits and fun boots. Lots of people wearing hats. Fedoras, Cowgirl/Cowboy hats. I felt as they were just missing “something” I didn’t know what that was until I came back to SLC and sat down and told myself LETS DO THIS. so with that I purchased alot of blank canvas hats and went to work.
I started posting my hats and BOOM they started selling. Its all a learning curve. Figuring out the million dollar question. “WHAT DO WOMAN WANT!?” What an absolutely loaded question….
Thats why I create ALL sorts of styles, colors. For that very reason.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Every buisness is going to go through ups and downs. Its been pretty smooth sailing, there has been a few bumps but we just keep our head up and keep on moving. Keeping and open mind and knowing things will happen out of my control just is part of life. Its all part of the ride.

My custom hats are all named and never created again. I want each of my hats to be custom and unique to their special person.
Whiskey Stone isn’t a pop up bar type of buisness. My hats are legit. From the material being 100% wool. They all have adjustable straps hidden underneath to fit most. You can wear my hats in all weather conditions. They are not only beautiful but wear them in the snow, rain, wind. I got you… they hold up! Thats what sets me apart for sure. I wanted to create a buisness that truly is high quality.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life. I dont do this for the money I do this because I love what I do. And seeing my customers walk out truly with the biggest smile on their face. They feel beautiful and that’s worth EVERYTHING !!!!!
