Community Highlights: Meet Damon Leach of Copper Bear Plumbing LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Damon Leach.

Hi Damon, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have been in the industry since 2017. I have lived in Utah for most of my life, but only recently moved to St. George area in 2022. I have been plumbing in the area since I arrived and love the local community. My wife and I started our business last year and we’re slowly growing.

We are partnered with a major home builder native to Utah. We also work with local contractors to complete remodels and additions. We’ve also been lucky to have positive feedback on our service side, so word of mouth has really helped us out on our journey.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Business in the service and construction industry comes with its ups and downs, but we’re learning all that we can to improve our processes and products. We’ve been blessed, so most of our struggles have been minor and are mostly linked to the growing pains of a new business.

As you know, we’re big fans of Copper Bear Plumbing LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Our goal at Copper Bear Plumbing is to provide premium quality plumbing services to St. George area for a fair price. We excel at residential new construction but strive to be well-rounded in service areas as well. (Remodels, Additions, Re-pipes, Water Heaters and Water Softeners).

Our motto is “Strength & Quality”, and we take pride in this. Our policy is to do things the right way the first time so that your plumbing and your home are protected for years to come.

In an effort to help Southern Utah residents accomplish this, we offer competitive installs with top-of-the-line products for our water softeners. Hard water is a big issue for homeowners in our area and water softeners are an excellent solution to protecting your home and fixtures.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
Family first and foremost. My wife and I started our family this past December with the birth of our son. I want to set a good example for him and our community by providing exceptional workmanship and service. I really care about my employees and customers. I would like to provide value to our industry as someone to trust. Both as an employer and contractor.
