Daily Inspiration: Meet Danielle Barr

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Barr.

Hi Danielle, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
After years of me showing up to fitness & wellness events, with little to no people attending. I was thinking, where are my fitness people? I was looking to connect & party with more then just the few people supporting the current event.
I know Salt Lake City has a thriving fitness community. I was wounding, “where was the dis-connect”?
I created a Instagram page in May of this year 2025. It started with me posting fitness & wellness events in SLC and surrounding areas. Posting everything form new business opening like gyms, spas, and wellness centers to walk throughs of already exciting businesses.
While stating this hub of info on line, I continued to show up. At all things fitness related opportunities to carry on with my support within the community. By consistently participating in grand opening and fitness events I built meaningful relationships and established a visible presence. Over time the attendees and business owners began to acknowledge my efforts and thank me for the work I was doing. It organically snowballed into this amazing community of people wanting to help each other succeed in all things.
All Things Fitness SLC is now a hub for all. Gym owners, Spa & Wellness business owners, all fitness & sport trainers, aesthetician, and general public looking to better them self’s. Looking for a job or just connect in the industry, All things Fitness is your spot. Most importantly, now I am creating events connecting businesses with each other to collaborate with other businesses to offer first time experiences in just one stop.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It took me 6 years of taking about stating this community. I was worried no one would show up to support me. Thinking no one will care. Always wondering, “do other people want to know where the fitness party is, or just me?
Posting about events and people’s business, I was most concerned with everybody trusting me to represent them in the way that would make them happy. Once I was able to get out of my own way and start posting on the inter net, it turns out, the people do care. People want to see the community a live and thriving. People just need to know where to show up and where to find the info.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am passionate about inspiring others to embrace fitness while continuously learning and evolving in my own journey. I actively seek out new fitness trends, studios and engaging activities to stay active and enjoy the out doors. With diverse experience from Snowboard instructor at Brighton Resort to Dog Musher at Luna Lobas In Park City, I thrive on daily movement and adventure. My background in gym management and teaching has given me deep respect for the dedication required in the fitness industry.
The hub I have created for fitness and wellness professional’s and fitness junkies has connected people to jobs and fitness opportunities that have changed life’s. Now with the community I have formed, I am able to connect businesses with each other, crafting never before collaborations and events that inspire the community to get out and connect and try some thing new.
Ultimately, I aspire to open a fitness/wellness space where the community can work out and connect out doors with a 1 stop shop feel. Meanwhile I am committed to supporting local wellness/fitness business communities by fostering connections that benefit both people and enterprises.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
