Exploring Life & Business with Alexis Osmond of The Oz Wedding & Event Center

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexis Osmond.

Hi Alexis, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I work in commercial real estate, our family owned land in lehi we were initially going to create a retail office space, however my dream has always been to own a Wedding Venue. Ive had it on my vision board for years, and this area, the market, and the idea was so perfect, it all aligned and we decided to pull the trigger and its been such a fun adventure to pursue!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasnt been a smooth road! Learning to work with dynamics of business and familly is usually never a smooth sailing operation, but we are figuring it out and we are doing everything we can to get as much exposure to our venue as possible! We are unlike any other venue in UT, we pride ourselves in thinking outside the box with our layout and flow of our venue. We curated every detail to exude elegance and timelessness in our space, and i believe we executed our vision well.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are a family founded business, born and raised local to UT County. Paige, my sister, and I, are unmarried, dreamed about our weddings our whole lives and as we’ve gotten older, we’ve realized a void in the Lehi/Saratoga Springs Market, and also a void in finding a timeless, luxury, yet affordable venue in UT County that didnt look like other venues in the Market.

What sets us apart is our architecture, and of course our stunning Diamond Checker Floors throughout our Main Hall. It was a non-negotiable in our design, and we made sure that was an essential aspect to our venue, since it has yet to be done at any venue that we have seen, really anywhere ever!

As a brand we are so proud to support local vendors, and creatives. When we support each other we all succeed! We have loved getting to know this wedding community and have met some amazing people because of it!

We also pride ourselves in our accessibility and availability to help our beautiful brides, and those who make the investment in our venue. We make sure they have ownership accessibility so we can address any inquiries that arrive promptly and with great care.

We are accessible, affordable, timeless, and hope to continue to grow as we have only been in business since June of 2025! We are so excited to meet all of our future brides and business owners hosting their events or family gatherings at our Venue at The Oz Wedding & Event Center!

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
As kids, our parents before school would always take us to breakfast since our parents were busy entreprenuers, we were a primarily, an “Eat Out” every meal kind of family! Mcdonalds breakfast was really close to our school and a staple our home, so in the morning on the way to school when we were with our mom, we would definitely make sure we had the #1, Egg Mcmuffin with a hash brown and a large diet coke (at the age of 12, we thank our mom for our love of coca-cola in the Osmond Family), and when we were with our dad, it was a large ice cream cone for breakfast! Simple times and some of the funniest memories with our parents as kids were in that drive thru at mcdonalds, and it is still our favorite memories as adults.
