My career began in the fast-paced world of startups, where I thrived on energy, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. Over the years, I worked in marketing and sales roles at companies like Real Salt Lake, Loveland Innovations, and JobNimbus before eventually stepping into the role of Vice President of Marketing at Solo. Working in these dynamic environments taught me how to build brands from the ground up, lead teams through rapid growth, and create meaningful connections through strategic storytelling. But somewhere along the way, I discovered —I absolutely loved events. I realized I had a natural talent for envisioning a space, bringing it to life with design, flow, and décor that made people feel something. After experiencing my third layoff during a round of company-wide reductions, I decided it was time to channel all that experience and creativity into something of my own. That’s when I founded Mountain Events Company—a place where I could blend my marketing background, passion for people, and love for creating unforgettable experiences into one purpose-driven venture.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Absolutely not. In the beginning, I had a lot of doubt—could I really do this? Could I turn this passion into something sustainable and make a real living from it? I’ll admit, I dragged my feet at first, second-guessing every move. But with my husband’s constant encouragement and the inspiration I found in friends who had started their own businesses, I finally pulled up my big girl pants and decided to go for it. And once I did, things started to click—one opportunity, one event, one relationship at a time.

My goal is to build a brand people love working with and trust—one that feels genuine, dependable, and inspiring.
