It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Like many small business owners, I’ve faced challenges in nearly every area — from hiring and training the right team, to managing operations, marketing, and customer expectations all at once.
In the early days, staffing was one of the hardest parts. The spa industry depends so much on people — not just their skills, but their attitude, consistency, and teamwork. I had to learn how to build systems, create clear standards, and develop a positive culture where everyone takes pride in their work.
There were also times when growth slowed down — especially during seasonal changes or shifts in the economy. Those moments taught me to become more analytical: tracking data, improving online presence, understanding customer behavior, and constantly refining our service quality.
