Meet George LeBoeuf of Access Stability LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to George LeBoeuf.

Hi George, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
About a decade ago, I began struggling with chronic pain. After years of failed medical intervention, depression and hopelessness, I found Structural Intergration along with cognitive behavioral approaches to be the only things that worked to alleviate a significant amount of my pain. These efforts in tandem, helped to save my life. I was then able to return to the things, relationships and lifestyle that I love. So I pursued education in Structural Integration, with intention to build a wellness clinic that could help similarly afflicted individuals to regain hope.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
To start a private practice has proven to be more work than anticipated – and much work was anticipated. Specifically, the struggle continues to be making sustainable business decisions that also fulfill our mission of making services accessible. This meant accepting insurance, creating sliding scale opportunities and partnering with local agencies that help to connect populations most at need with quality and affordable services.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Access Stability LLC?
We’re really proud of focusing on both the body and the mind and being knowledgeable about both. We started Access Stability for people who have tried so many other options, and feel like giving up. We specialize in chronic pain. People often think that implies only physical pain, but emotional pain and physical pain often go hand in hand. On the bodywork side, we offer structural integration, craniosacral therapy, and lymphedema therapy (I’m LANA certified). On the psychotherapy/mental health side, I offer EMDR, cognitive therapies and somatic approaches. We love learning, and we are always reading, talking with other professionals (including those outside of our professions), and taking courses to enhance our services.

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
There is a saying amongst therapists and bodyworkers alike that many of us join the profession so we don’t have to do math. So, most people would be surprised to know that we both love numbers, and I rarely need a calculator.
