Today we’d like to introduce you to Todd Zamora.
Todd, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started out doing the work long before I ever thought about branding or building anything bigger. What began as a hands-on practice rooted in connection, care, and craftsmanship slowly evolved as I realized people weren’t just responding to the service — they were responding to the experience, the intention behind it, and the way I showed up.
Over time, I learned how to blend skill with intuition, structure with creativity. I paid attention to what worked, what felt aligned, and what didn’t. I refined my approach, sharpened my voice, and built something that reflects both professionalism and personality.
Today, my work lives at the intersection of service, creativity, and empowerment. Whether I’m working one-on-one or building something larger, the goal is the same: create work that feels intentional, elevated, and human.
Everything I do now is informed by experience — what I’ve learned, what I’ve navigated, and what I know people genuinely need. I’m still evolving, but the foundation is solid, and that’s what allows the work to keep growing.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Any meaningful work comes with its own set of challenges — growth usually does.
Along the way, I’ve had to navigate periods of uncertainty, learn how to protect my time and energy, and figure out how to grow without losing what made the work personal in the first place. There were moments that required recalibration — letting go of what no longer fit, setting firmer boundaries, and trusting my own judgment.
Those challenges ultimately sharpened the work. They forced clarity, discipline, and a deeper understanding of what I’m building and why. Looking back, the resistance wasn’t a setback — it was part of the refinement.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
What I’m most proud of is my determination and work ethic. This hasn’t been an overnight journey — it’s been years of showing up, refining the craft, and staying committed even when the path wasn’t easy or obvious.
Along the way, my focus expanded beyond the table. While massage therapy remains the foundation of my work, I’m also committed to building tools, ideas, and products that support longevity — for clients, for practitioners, and for the industry itself.
I care deeply about the future. I’m not interested in being the last person standing; I want the work to continue beyond me. That means creating systems, resources, and approaches that can be shared, taught, and built upon.
For me, success isn’t just about where I am now — it’s about what I leave behind.
Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
I tend to learn best through conversation — whether that’s with people, ideas, or tools. I use modern platforms like ChatGPT to help clarify my thinking and explore new directions, especially when I’m building or refining something.
I also draw a lot from classic literature. Writers like Ernest Hemingway remind me of the power of simplicity, presence, and discipline — values that translate directly into my work.
It’s that blend of forward-thinking tools and timeless principles that helps keep me grounded and moving forward.
