Hi Steve and Dan, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
We are avid travelers who have visited over 55 countries. When market conditions and regulatory changes led us to shut down our title insurance agency, we decided to follow our passion and open a travel agency. We love sharing our enthusiasm for travel with our clients and helping them explore the world with their family and friends.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Starting a new business is very rarely smooth. There have been major challenges. Despite our extensive travel experience, the behind-the-scenes side of running a travel agency is fairly complicated to set up. We’ve worked really hard to be able to offer our clients incredible service and access to fantastic destinations.

We’re a boutique travel agency specializing in luxury travel to Europe, the Caribbean, and upscale destinations worldwide. As a natural outgrowth of our focus, we have also become experts in booking honeymoons for discerning couples. There are several qualities that set us apart: 1. Our extensive personal travel experience. We have first hand knowledge of the places we recommend because we have been there. 2. We listen to our clients. We don’t have a one-size-fits-all mentality. We hear what our clients tell us they are looking for, what their interests are, and what their goals are for their vacation. Then we think outside the box to create a unique experience that exceeds their expectations. 3. We offer 24 hour support while our clients are traveling. We always aim for a seamless trip but, as anyone who has traveled internationally can tell you, sometimes situations come up despite the best of plans. It’s rare, but if you need help, we respond to texts and phone calls at all hours. (I’m reminded of helping clients in Italy who had gotten on the wrong train and traveled a long way before they realized it. I was on the phone with them and helping them get rerouted until 4 am Mountain time.) If you need us, we will be there for you. 4. We have fun personalities and we love spreading good energy as we help our clients enjoy life and their loved ones through shared experiences.
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Opening a business is a major risk. Financially, emotionally, and timewise. It’s so worth it, though, when it comes together and we’re able to give amazing service to our clients. Helping people achieve their dreams is so rewarding! When it comes to our clients’ travel, however, we’re all about risk reduction. We take the risk out of travel for them. For many people, planning an international trip is a daunting task. Our personal experience in dozens of countries allows us to anticipate potential challenges and thereby plan effectively and dramatically reduce the risk of something going wrong. Our clients depend on us because we have proven expertise and because we genuinely care about them.

- An important note is that we don’t charge any trip planning or booking fees. We are compensated by the hotels, cruise lines, and tour companies.
