Today we’d like to introduce you to Victoria Hunter.
Hi Victoria, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey started in front of the camera at a young age, but it didn’t take long for me to realize I was just as drawn to what was happening behind it. Modeling and acting taught me confidence, discipline, and how to tell a story that matters. Over time, that curiosity turned into action. I began editing projects, producing short films, and learning how to turn an idea into a project that I am passionate about.
Alongside my work in modeling, I found a passion for leadership and business through an organization for young leaders, Future Business Leaders of America. Competing, leading, and building programs showed me how creativity and strategy go hand in hand. It pushed me to think bigger, not just about my personal brand, but about how to create opportunities for others. This led to working alongside the high school national president of FBLA.
Today, I balance modeling with production and leadership, using every space I’m in to learn, build, and elevate the work around me. Each experience, whether on set, in the editing room, or on stage, has shaped who I am and where I’m headed next.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
While the road hasn’t always been effortless, it’s been incredibly rewarding. Starting young meant learning quickly how to balance school, modeling, acting, production work, and leadership, which pushed me to grow with intention. Managing multiple passions at once taught me discipline, time management, and confidence in my abilities.
One of the most important constants throughout my journey has been my mom’s support. She believed in me from the very beginning, encouraged me to dream big, and made sure I stayed grounded while pursuing creative opportunities. Having someone who supported both my ambition and my well-being made all the difference.
Through FBLA and production, I learned how creativity and business complement each other. Competing and leading helped me develop resilience, communication skills, and a strong sense of purpose. Every experience along the way has shaped me into someone who values growth, collaboration, and using my platform to uplift others. I’m grateful for each step that brought me here and excited for what’s next.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Kid Capital ?
With my passion for both the film industry and business, I wanted to create something that gave younger students access to skills I wish I had learned earlier. Along with my friend and co-founder, Elaine Varghese, we created Kid Capital, a nonprofit focused on breaking down business concepts into engaging, age-appropriate lessons for kids.
Kid Capital currently teaches over 70 students in the Duvall area, meeting every other Friday at their school. Through our program, students learn foundational ideas like entrepreneurship, budgeting, leadership, and collaboration in a way that feels fun, empowering, and hands-on. We encourage students to build their own mini businesses using a class economy, helping them understand how creativity and strategy work together.
What sets Kid Capital apart is our emphasis on accessibility and confidence. We don’t just teach business, we teach kids to believe they can be creators, leaders, and problem-solvers. As a program currently in its pilot phase, we are incredibly proud of the impact we’ve already seen and are excited to expand next year. More than anything, we want readers to know that Kid Capital is about planting seeds early and giving kids the tools to see themselves as capable, curious, and future-ready.
Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
I’m always open to creative collaborations in modeling, film, and production with brands and individuals who value storytelling and purpose. I also welcome partnerships and support for Kid Capital, whether through schools, sponsors, or community organizations interested in expanding early business education. Collaboration, mentorship, and shared vision are at the heart of everything I do.
