Today we’d like to introduce you to Bre Webb.
Hi Bre, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Annie Davis and I first crossed paths a little over four years ago, bonding over our shared love of boxing and the joys (and occasional chaos) of raising kids. From the start, we just clicked. There was this natural connection that quickly grew into a friendship and, eventually, a professional partnership. Annie has this incredible energy and drive that’s contagious, and it wasn’t long before opportunities started to arise for us to work together and everything just fell into place.
I’ve always been drawn to the creative side of things—websites, branding, marketing—it’s where I feel most alive. There’s something so rewarding about sitting down with a client, hearing their story, understanding their style, and diving into their business model. It’s like piecing together a puzzle to bring their brand to life in a way that feels uniquely them. Working with Annie and Davis Designs has been such a fun and inspiring journey. Together, we’ve built this amazing partnership where creativity and collaboration thrive, and I couldn’t be more excited about what we’re creating.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Life, much like the tides, ebbs and flows. Over the years, Annie has faced significant health challenges, and it has been a true blessing to support her through those difficult times while helping to keep Davis Designs thriving. Her strength and resilience are nothing short of inspiring, and it has been a privilege to stand by her side as she navigates it all with grace and determination. Witnessing her fight through adversity has been a reminder of the power of perseverance and the importance of showing up for the people we care about.
As a mom to three kids, including one with special needs and another who is neurodivergent, the journey of balancing work and family life is far from smooth. There are moments when I question my path, but I hold tightly to my dreams and believe that leading by example is one of the greatest gifts I can give my children. I want them to see that with determination and effort, they can achieve anything they set their minds to. By embracing challenges and pushing myself to grow, I hope to instill in them the value of resilience and the courage to keep trying. Life is a constant opportunity to learn and evolve, and I plan to embrace that spirit of growth for as long as I can.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
At Davis Designs, I proudly serve as the Senior Project Manager, a role that allows me to connect deeply with our website clients and bring their visions to life. I meet with each client to hear their unique story, understand their goals, and learn about the mission behind their business. This process is one of my favorite parts of the job because it gives me the opportunity to take their branding, style, and personality and translate it into a website that perfectly represents them and their company. I see every project as a chance to help tell their story in a meaningful way, weaving their mission and values throughout the site. It’s like solving a creative and rewarding puzzle, where every piece comes together to form something truly special.
In addition to managing projects, I am also the WIX website builder for the Davis Designs team. WIX has become an invaluable tool for us and many of our clients, offering flexibility, functionality, and a user-friendly platform that meets a wide range of needs. In fact, we are proud to be one of the only WIX experts in the Salt Lake Valley, which allows us to provide a unique and specialized service to our community. For me, building websites is the perfect blend of creativity and analytical thinking. From the initial concept to the final launch, I love using both sides of my brain to design and develop a site from start to finish. There’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing a project come to life and knowing that it will help our clients achieve their goals and make an impact online.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Running a small business is always a leap of faith, filled with risks and rewards, and at Davis Designs, we’ve embraced that journey wholeheartedly. Recently, Annie and I made the exciting decision to bring my husband, Stuart Webb, onto the team as we continue to grow and expand. It’s been an incredible step forward for us, blending not just our professional lives but also our families. With both the Davis family and the Webb family fully invested in Davis Designs, we’ve created what we like to call our “dream team.” Together, we’re combining our talents, strengths, and shared vision to make this business thrive. Of course, taking this step hasn’t been without its challenges. Adding another layer of family into the mix and taking on the risks that come with growth can feel daunting at times. But we truly believe it’s a risk worth taking. There’s something so special about building a business alongside the people you love and trust most, and we’re committed to making it work. With our combined passion, creativity, and determination, we’re excited to see where this next chapter takes us. It’s not just about running a business—it’s about building something meaningful together, and that makes every challenge along the way feel worthwhile.
