Today we’d like to introduce you to Tammra Goodrich.
Hi Tammra, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I have been a Registered Nurse for 40 years, I have done everything from ER to OR, management, administration, and working as an RN educator for Medical devices. When I got close to retirement, I decided to do what I always wanted to do and start a business. At the same time, my mother began to need in-home senior care. Through that personal experience, I saw firsthand the growing need for quality in-home assistance. Research shows that seniors who are able to age at home, while maintaining autonomy, dignity, and independence, often live longer, happier, and more fulfilling lives. Supporting seniors in remaining in their own homes became not just a professional goal, but a deeply personal mission.
My oldest son, who has many years of experience as a medical sales representative and business owner, shared this vision. I invited him to join me in this journey, and together we committed to serving seniors in our community with integrity, compassion, and excellence.
Our goal is to help seniors maintain their dignity and independence while aging in the home they love. We understand that financing in-home care can feel overwhelming, so we guide families through every available option. This includes maximizing long-term care insurance benefits, exploring life insurance solutions, identifying home-based financial resources, and assisting veterans in accessing the benefits they have earned through their service to our country.
We opened our doors in July of 2025 and have been working tirelessly ever since to provide trusted guidance, meaningful resources, and high-quality care to the seniors and families in our community.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Starting a senior care business has been both challenging and deeply rewarding. From the very beginning, we knew the first year, and even the first few years, would require patience, perseverance, and faith. Getting our message into the community, establishing trust, building relationships with referral partners, and simply letting people know who we are and what we stand for has taken consistent effort.
In senior care, reputation matters. Trust isn’t given quickly it’s earned through time, integrity, and showing up day after day with excellence. We’ve worked hard to build that reputation, one family and one relationship at a time.
One of our greatest blessings has been the caregivers we’ve been able to hire. We have been incredibly fortunate to find compassionate, kind, and hardworking individuals who genuinely love seniors and take pride in the care they provide. Our caregivers aren’t just employees they are the heart of our business.
We are intentional about choosing the best of the best. Every caregiver is insured, thoroughly background-checked, and provided with ongoing education and support. This commitment ensures that the care we deliver is not only safe, but exceptional.
While building a senior care business hasn’t been easy, it has been meaningful. The challenges have shaped us, strengthened our mission, and reaffirmed why we do this work, to provide excellent, dignified care and to support seniors and families with compassion and trust.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We provide non-medical, in-home senior care designed to help older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the homes they love. Our services support daily living needs, including personal care, companionship, mobility assistance, meal support, medication reminders, and respite for family caregivers.
We specialize in relationship-based care. That means we don’t simply fill shifts, we thoughtfully match caregivers to seniors based on personality, needs, and values. We serve seniors who want to age at home with dignity and families who want peace of mind knowing their loved one is truly cared for.
As care needs change over time, we step in to provide consistent, reliable support that allows our clients to continue aging safely and comfortably at home. We are the agency families turn to when they feel overwhelmed, uncertain, or unsure where to begin. In the moments that matter most, we provide compassionate care families can trust.
We also recognize that the cost of senior care can feel overwhelming. We help ease that burden by connecting families with resources they may not realize are available to them. One of our core goals is helping veterans access the benefits they have earned through their service. We are often surprised by how many veterans are unaware of the senior care benefits available to them. Our team is highly experienced in navigating the benefits process and is committed to guiding veterans and their families with clarity, respect, and care.
