Inspiring Conversations with Amanda Storrs of Beau Monde – Exclusive Vehicle Protection

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Storrs.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Cars have been part of my world for as long as I can remember. My dad spent years selling cars in dealerships, and as a kid I would wander the showrooms, climb into the driver’s seats, and daydream about the stories those cars would live. I didn’t know it then, but those early memories planted the seed for the path I would eventually take.

My journey into the automotive industry wasn’t traditional, and honestly that is part of what shaped how I approach everything today. I have always been someone who figures things out by doing. Over time that curiosity pulled me deeper into the world of paint, protection, and customization, and eventually led me to build Beau Monde.

Beau Monde started from a simple belief. Vehicle protection should feel elevated. It should not just be another service on a list. It should be done with intention, craftsmanship, and pride. I built the brand from the ground up, creating the identity, the marketing, the relationships, and the work itself, often learning lessons the hard way along the way.

At the same time I became deeply involved with NGenco, an innovative spray-on rubber paint protection system that allows installers to protect vehicles while preserving the beauty of the original paint underneath. Being part of bringing new solutions like NGenco into the market has been one of the most exciting parts of the journey because it pushes the industry forward while giving shops and vehicle owners something genuinely different.

Working as a woman in a heavily male-dominated industry has definitely had its moments. Early on I learned that credibility often comes from showing up consistently, doing excellent work, and letting results speak for themselves. Over time that persistence turns into respect.

Entrepreneurship also does not happen in a vacuum. I am building businesses while raising my son, navigating life’s challenges, and learning how to keep moving forward even when things get messy. If anything, that reality has made me stronger, more focused, and deeply appreciative of the opportunities that come with building something of your own.

Today my work sits at the intersection of craftsmanship, innovation, and business growth. Through Beau Monde and my work expanding NGenco across the United States, I spend my time helping shops succeed, introducing new technology into the automotive protection space, and continuing to grow a brand that represents exclusivity, quality, and trust.

Looking back, I can still picture that kid sitting in dealership showrooms imagining where those cars might go. In many ways that curiosity is still the same thing driving me today. The desire to build something meaningful, push boundaries, and create experiences that people remember.

If entrepreneurship has taught me anything, it is that the best stories are the ones you build yourself.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely has not been a smooth road, but honestly I do not think real entrepreneurship ever is.

Building something from the ground up means you are constantly learning, pivoting, and solving problems you did not know existed the day before. In the automotive industry specifically, there is also the reality that it is still a very male-dominated space. Early on I had to prove my knowledge and credibility more than once. That experience taught me quickly that consistency, professionalism, and results speak louder than anything else.

There have also been the normal struggles that come with starting and growing a business. Cash flow, long hours, building trust with customers, and navigating the operational side of things that most people never see. When you are the one building the brand, the systems, the marketing, and the relationships all at the same time, it can feel like you are wearing ten hats in a single day.

On a personal level, balancing entrepreneurship while raising my son has also been a journey of its own. There are days where the challenges feel overwhelming, but those moments have also built resilience and clarity around why I am doing this in the first place.

The truth is that every challenge has forced me to become a better business owner, a stronger problem solver, and a more intentional leader. When you push through the difficult parts, you gain experience that no textbook or training can give you.

So no, it has not been a smooth road. But it has absolutely been a meaningful one.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Beau Monde – Exclusive Vehicle Protection?
Beau Monde is built around the idea that vehicle protection and customization should feel intentional, refined, and personal. The name itself means “beautiful world,” and that philosophy shows up in how I approach every project. My focus is not just protecting vehicles, but elevating them while preserving what makes them special in the first place.

At Beau Monde, I specialize in high-end vehicle protection and custom aesthetic work. Much of my work centers around NGenco, a spray-on rubber paint protection system that protects the original paint while remaining peelable and customizable. It gives owners the ability to protect their investment without permanently altering the vehicle.

What really sets my work apart is the attention to detail and the level of craftsmanship involved in every project. Color matching is one of my specialties, and it requires both technical precision and an artistic eye. Getting a finish to match factory paint perfectly is something I take a lot of pride in.

Over the years I have had the opportunity to work on a wide range of vehicles, from luxury and exotic cars to high-performance trucks. Some projects I am particularly proud of include work on a Maserati, a Lotus, a Ford Bronco build, a restoration of a 1964 Impala, and a Ram TRX. Each vehicle brings its own personality and its own challenges, and that is part of what makes the work exciting.

Chrome deletes have also become one of the things Beau Monde is known for. It is a small detail that can completely transform the look of a vehicle, giving it a much cleaner and more modern aesthetic.

Brand-wise, what I am most proud of is that Beau Monde has been built entirely from the ground up. Every part of the brand, from the identity to the marketing to the relationships within the automotive community, has been developed with intention. It is not just about offering a service. It is about creating an experience where clients know their vehicle is being treated with the same level of care and pride that they have for it themselves.

What I want people to understand about Beau Monde is that it is not about volume or rushing vehicles through a shop. It is about craftsmanship, trust, and doing the job right. Every project is approached with the mindset that the smallest details matter, because in the automotive world those details are everything.

At the end of the day, Beau Monde exists for people who care deeply about their vehicles and want protection and customization done at the highest level.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up I was actually pretty quiet and independent. I was the oldest child, so I spent a lot of time entertaining myself and creating my own little worlds. Barbies were a big part of that, and I loved pretending to be a teacher. I would line things up and organize them, which looking back probably says a lot about how my brain has always worked.

I was also a big daydreamer. My imagination was always running, and I think that curiosity and tendency to picture things differently has followed me into adulthood and entrepreneurship.

Music was definitely part of the soundtrack of my childhood. There was a steady rotation of NSYNC and Backstreet Boys CDs, with plenty of Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears mixed in. If you walked into my room there was a good chance one of those was playing.

I also loved dance growing up, which gave me an outlet to express myself even though I was naturally more on the quiet side.

Looking back, I think those years shaped a lot of who I am today. I was observant, creative, and comfortable spending time thinking and imagining. Those same qualities now show up in how I approach building things, whether that is a brand, a business, or a vision for what something could become.
