Exploring Life & Business with Kiera Davis of Coach K Wellness

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kiera Davis.

Hi Kiera, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
At 23, I was diagnosed with endometriosis, I had cysts in my ovaries, and I was living with chronic pain, debilitating fatigue, and I was just given birth control as a prescription, It was supposed to help but instead triggered a heavy depression, anxiety, and constant irritability that did not feel like me. I was surviving, but barely. I knew the woman I was capable of being, productive, energetic, fully alive, but I could only catch glimpses of her. Nothing in my body or my life could stay consistent long enough for me to actually become her.
What followed was five years of figuring it out largely on my own, because I did not have anyone to teach me or solid resources to guide me through it. I took a holistic approach, overhauling my nutrition, building movement protocols that worked with my cycle, prioritizing sleep, managing and channeling my stress, and creating a lifestyle designed not just to manage my endo symptoms but to heal the whole system. What I did not expect was how connected everything was. As I worked to regulate my nervous system, stabilize my metabolism, balance my blood sugar, and support my gut health, I watched symptom after symptom begin to resolve, not because I targeted each one individually, but because I stopped treating my body like a collection of problems and started treating it like an ecosystem.
That is when everything changed. I went from surviving to truly thriving. My energy became reliable. My capacity expanded. I discovered my athletic side and found a version of myself I had never met before, strong, consistent, and fully present in her own life. That five year journey, as hard as it was, inspired me to get more education and switch my specialty to hormone health. I wanted to become an expert in this because I knew so many women are experiencing a version of living below their potential because of hormonal imbalances and I wanted to help them! It became the foundation of everything I now teach. Coach K Wellness exists because no woman should have to spend five years finding her way back to herself alone.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Has it been a smooth road? Not even close and I think that is part of what makes the work meaningful.
One of my earliest struggles was learning how to find science backed, evidence based information I could actually trust. Hormone research for women is still relatively new, and the landscape is full of contradicting information. I did not want to coach from Google. I wanted to understand this deeply enough to actually help, so I had to learn how to navigate research, filter out the noise, and build a knowledge base I could stand behind with confidence.
On the personal side, hormone health is never a straight line, and I still live that reality. I still have hard days, especially when life pulls me away from the foundations: when sleep slips, stress builds, meals get skipped, or training outpaces my fueling and recovery. But the difference now is that those days are rare, and when they do come, I understand what my body is communicating. I know what the symptoms mean, I know what is happening underneath them, and I know how to adapt. That is the goal I hold for every client, not perfection, but literacy. Learning to read your body and know how to love and take care of it instead of fear or dismiss it.
Professionally, the road has been long. For years I ran this as a side business, almost entirely referral-based, which meant my client load was inconsistent and my impact had a ceiling. Last year I made the decision to go full time, and with that came a clarity I had not had before. I realized the programs I had been offering (a one on one coaching container and a standalone education course) were each missing something on their own. Women need both the knowledge and the guided support to implement it. I also needed both when I was healing but didn’t have a resource like this to turn to. That realization is what brought Born to Shine to life. It has been a year in the making and it is the most complete, most intentional thing I have ever built.

As you know, we’re big fans of Coach K Wellness. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Coach K Wellness is a hormone health coaching business built for millennial women who are done surviving and ready to start thriving in everything they do. I specialize in helping women understand, decode, and work with their hormones rather than against them, because your hormones are not your enemy. They are your greatest superpower.

What sets my approach apart is the belief that regulating your body starts with learning your body. Most women have spent years being told what to do without ever being taught why their body does what it does. I change that. The same hormones that when imbalanced bring exhaustion, mood swings, weight struggles, and a life lived at low capacity are the exact same hormones that when balanced help you achieve your full potential. They do not just alleviate symptoms, they launch you into your best life.

My signature offering, Born to Shine, is a 24-week one on one hormone health coaching program designed to give women the tools, knowledge, and guided support to succeed not just for six months, but for the rest of their lives. It is the most comprehensive program I have ever built, and I am deeply proud of its depth. Previous programs I offered either focused on education or coaching support and I found that women need both. Born to Shine delivers both. It is built around six pillars that take clients from understanding what is happening in their body all the way through to fully living in sync with it.

What I bring to this work goes beyond certifications. I hold a B.S. in Public Health, NASM certifications in personal training and nutrition coaching, and credentials as a Certified Hormone Specialist and Coach, but the coaching that changes lives comes from lived experience. I have been in my clients’ shoes. I know what it feels like to search for answers, to be dismissed, and to finally find them. That is the foundation I coach from.

Beyond one on one work, I have had the privilege of speaking in front of groups of women across a variety of settings, and those opportunities light me up. Getting this information into rooms full of women who need it is something I actively pursue and always say yes to. If you are looking for a speaker, an educator, or a partner for your community of women, I would love the conversation.
