Ethan , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
We built Terra Kitchen and Bath from the ground up with a simple goal – to create something of our own that we could be proud of. Before starting the company, we gained hands-on experience in the remodeling industry, learning the trade from the ground up and developing a strong understanding of what quality and honest work should look like and what homeowners truly need from a contractor.
Like many small businesses, we didn’t start with a big launch. It was long days, taking projects one at a time, and earning trust through consistency and attention to detail. Every job became an opportunity for us to learn, improve and raise our standards. From the beginning, our approach has been simple: do things the right way communicate openly, and never cut corners.
As we grew, bringing on our business partner Tim Wagaman was a huge step forward for us. We all share the same values and work ethic, and it allowed us to expand what we offer while staying true to what Terra Kitchen and Bath was founded on.
Today, we have an amazing growing team that focuses on kitchen, bathroom, and full interior remodels. We treat every home like it’s our own, stand behind what we do, and truly care about the experience our clients have with us. We create excellence one project at a time – and couldn’t be more thrilled being where we are today!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. We started with very little and figured things out as we went. There were times when “meetings” were just us sitting in our backyard with our feet in the kiddie pool, trying to plan our next move, manage finances, and figure out how to grow without overextending ourselves.
We have also had to navigate the realities of a competitive industry and stay focused on what we are building, even when faced with outside noise or differing standards. That really pushed us to stay grounded in our values and focus on doing things the right way.
We have had to learn how to set boundaries and trust our process, especially in an industry where not everyone operates with the same transparency or quality. Those experiences, while tough at the time, really shaped how we run our business today.
Every challenge, as there have been many, has pushed us to be better, more intentional, and ore committed to what we’re building.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was always pretty active and driven. I spent a lot of my time swimming and staying involved in sports throughout High School. I come from an amazing family with something always going on, life was hectic and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Personality wise, I have always been focused and curious. I like understanding how things work and figuring out better ways to do things, history was and still is a huge part of my life. I have always loved different languages and fluent in English, Russian, Spanish and Chinese.
