Daily Inspiration: Meet Melissa Rosenbusch – Spicer

Today we’d like to introduce you to Melissa Rosenbusch – Spicer.

Hi Melissa, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am a retired ag teacher in Texas of 29 years. I met Pete Hexter and Jessie Stewart while in that role and experienced tremendous success for our FFA chapter. But it was more than just increased revenue, it was the purpose behind the business, the team. The giving back and doing good which really spoke to my servant leader heart. Upon retiring, I was asked to join the team and it was an easy decision to jump on board. To work with a company that supports youth in agriculture, education and leadership; these were things that my entire life has been centered around. I might mention that not only was I an ag teacher but so was my father for 33 years and 15 years of those we were blessed to teach together in our hometown of Florence, Texas. I was raised with deep roots and a passion to support agriculture and work with it’s youth.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Personally – The biggest challenge I face to day are health related. Complications with chronic illnesses forced me to step out of the classroom slightly earlier than I would have liked. The opportunity to work remotely at Bloom for Good was a blessing, providing me extra time for appointments and rest.

Professionally – Bloom for Good is a small business with a small team. Working to get our message out of “Doing Good” and back to our mission to give back to youth organizations is sometimes perceived as “too good to be true”. But our entire team is committed to do just that. Bloom for Good is founded on the principles of support and service. What makes us unique – our products are 100% made in the USA. Everything we do is centered around supporting the next generation of ag leaders. Our team works to support teachers and leaders of schools and organizations by going the extra mile. We create all marketing material and support teachers/leaders with unlimited resources to ensure a successful campaign.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
My role is VP of Agriculture Advocacy and Impact. I work with corporate companies, organizations and schools nation wide providing turn key funding solutions, opportunities to promote and extend their brand all the while sharing the message of the GOOD that is happening in the agriculture industry. What a fun job!!

We utilized two major programs to do this – Socks and Savings. Our socks are 100% made in America and utilized to promote agriculture companies and organizations, swag and merchandise for schools, clubs, events, etc. We can create custom socks, provide bulk orders or create a no-risk sock store campaign. Our savings is provided by our digital savings passport we branded as Advocate for Agriculture (A4A). The A4A savings app comes with a year membership of the industries leading savings discounts – nation wide. A4A also has the ability to be branded for companies and organizations providing not only member benefits of savings up to $5000 annually, but also increased communication for members right at your fingertips.

What are your plans for the future?
This year we kicked off a rebranding and re-alignment of our programs. Bloom for Good has streamlined our funding solutions to Socks and Savings.

The rebrand of our Digital Savings app speaks to our mission of supporting and advocating for agriculture. With a fresh new look and name, the platform itself received an overhaul and is now the LEADING digital savings passport on the market today. The comparisons don’t lie and we continually provide the biggest savings each time! Everyone wins! The organization receives the donation to help fund their group and the supporters receives a years membership to our A4A app with unlimited savings opportunities.

We can’t wait for the Fall as we kick off with our busy season for our socks with our Holiday Sock Stores. These no-risk online stores provide clubs, schools and organizations with a generous donation for every pair sold through the store and the best part, it requires no upfront cost. Plus, we create all the materials you need!
