Meet Shvryce Porter of Utah

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shvryce Porter.

Shvryce, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
It all kind of started in high school, I had a massive friend group and we did a lot of unique things every week, people started telling me that we should vlog, and it kind of blended with the fact that I look a lot like David Dobrik, so as soon as I graduated I got a camera and started vlogging and the rest is kind of history from there, people from the group have come and gone as we’ve started to grow up and the focus of my videos has kind of shifted but throughout all of that I ended up starting a clothing line to sort of intertwine with my content.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Oh no not a smooth road at all, if anything we go off roading all the time. I think what I found myself most stuck on was perfection paralysis, especially when I first started. I think the biggest thing when it comes to content is just consistency, I feel like everybody is so stuck in having everything just right, that half the time they give up mid edit, things don’t have to be perfect and frankly I don’t think they ever will be, but just focusing on getting it out there and then video by video just fixing one thing at a time, and then eventually everything gets smoother and you just improve!

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I create content! I’m probably most known for my videos, I’m really proud of the videos where we help others, my current #1 long form video is us helping out a family for Christmas, just being able to help others is something that I really enjoy so I would say that that is also what kind of sets me apart.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
All of my social media tags are @shvryce and my email is shvryce@gmail.com! I love video ideas and if you know of anybody in need or want to help somebody in need I’d always love to help!
