Hidden Gems: Meet Crystal Zinn of Crystal Zinn Yoga

Today we’d like to introduce you to Crystal Zinn.

Hi Crystal, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m a mom of 3 and a military wife. I started my yoga journey to heal my body at 18 after several car and horse accidents- I couldn’t even touch my toes! From there I majored in health and nutrition and spent the next 20 years weaving through personal training, meditation, breathwork, teaching anatomy courses and learning as many healing modalities as I could to help me navigate life’s many challenges.

I work in addiction recovery, corporate events and on the community level bringing these tools to anyone who resonates with them for healing, help with anxiety, addiction, health, and any other challenge.

My passion, purpose & life’s career has culminated in teaching children and conscious parenting. After many courses and experiences including teaching PE and kids sports teams over the years I have decided to create kids day camps to fill a gap I see so much need in for our community. This summer is our first kids leadership & resiliency camp and it’s my mission to expand and offer these camps annually to more kids more often with more experiences in amazing places with mentors and values that help them grow into confident, kind, courageous leaders!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I’ve honed my skills and knowledge in response to needing a deep anchor through divorce, single motherhood, healing family of origin wounds (as we all do) and dealing with life and having babies while my husband is deployed. I enjoy expanding my spiritual beliefs and having practices that help all people, especially children and families dealing with addiction and staying in recovery.

I’ve taken courses, certifications and have a special insight and gift through birth doulaing, death and grief processes because I’ve been through all these experiences and want to help people feel seen and understood through them.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My favorite offering is my podcast “the Crystal Zinn Podcast” where I get to highlight people, issues, tools and information in the healing world to help our community.

I also offer Retreats (domestic & international) for immersive learning, adventure & healing! As well as corporate workshops, speaking engagements, breathwork, meditations, private sessions abc of course YOGA as a pathway for self awareness and connection.

I also teach anatomy courses I’ve created for different somatic schools to help educate and bring the worlds of western and eastern physical and spiritual practices (think yoga, trainings, Kundalini, meditation, trainings, and martial arts)

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
I love animals and have always worked w them, experienced healing through them and use them in many offerings (including retreat, and these new kids camps) especially horses and horse encounters as therapeutic practices for self discovery.

Pricing:

  • I work at all price points depending on the event or offering from charity to $300 sessions, $10,000 corporate engagements to $40,000 retreat efforts
