Today we’d like to introduce you to Abby Speicher.
Hi Abby, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started DARTdrones when I was 23 and completing an MBA in Entrepreneurship at Babson College. I won several business plan competitions and used all the resources I could at Babson. Shortly after graduation, I pitched DARTdrones on Shark Tank. The business grew nationally with classes in 20 cities. We have been continuing to offer drone training for 12 years to businesses across the county.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not even the littlest bit! I had a lot to learn as a business owner and manager. The first five years was a huge learning curve for me with new issues every week.

I started a purse company when I was in high school that manufactured purses in Ghana, Africa and used the funds to pay for kids education in Ghana. My experience working on that business made me 100% sure I wanted to be an entrepreneur.
