Today we’d like to introduce you to Myndy Jean.
Hi Myndy, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
One of my first memories as a child is walking around in the yard and singing to the trees. I loved to sing and connect with nature and the natural world. I was literally obsessed with music…Michael Jackson, Queen, Chicago, Huey Lewis and the News, Celine Dion, Gloria Estefan, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey…all the DIVAS! How I admired them, as I grew up, so did my music tastes. I loved Nirvana, and all the X96 I could handle! I have been in choir, and music, dance and theater and piano my whole life. My Grandma Peggy was a council member on the Draper Arts Council, so we went to LOTS of musicals. I just dreamed of being the one on the stage….music is my second language and to share it with people is sooooooooo special to me. The feeling of us being connected through music, singing and seeing people happy and enjoying is ALL TO ME! I have self taught myself music production on my fantastic Mac Laptop! With the program Logic Pro, I started realizing the potential for myself, dabbling with other instruments and really playing with my vocal range and multi-genre style. I have my solo project, Tetra, as well as my band Aeon August that I’ve been creating with for 5+ years. Music is the Universal language that anyone can understand, and it’s my pleasure and great honor to create and share.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
NEVER a smooth road, but always worth the effort. Struggles include but not limited to, trying to register ASCAP or BMI..knowing the difference between hobby and professional grade business model.

I am an Artist, creator, Top Liner, Minister, Single Mom of a teenager, AI and App development. Fire Dancer, Aerialist and Yogi. Marketing and Websites, Psychic Medium, Energy Guide, creator of get decoded.online. Production company Moonshyne -music videos, social media marketing and creating, Owner and Operator of Singing Dragon Studios with my partner in my band Aeon August, Marc Jones. Song writing and production lessons.
I’m most proud of my son 🙂
What sets me apart from others is I can work circles around anyone in any of my fields, I’m a Jill of many trades, and A master at most of them too.
How do you think about luck?
NOne. All skills and determination. I in fact seem to have the shittest luck on the planet in many things. lol
