Rising Stars: Meet Tucker Doak of Utah

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tucker Doak.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started playing music as a kid and a hobby has grown into more than a hobby.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I didn’t come from money, so I’ve had to work hard for everything I’ve achieved. Family has always been my top priority, especially raising my son with special needs, who has brought more meaning to my life than I could have ever imagined. Because of that, my music has often taken a back seat, but I’ve never given up on it. If anything, the challenges and responsibilities I’ve faced have only made me work harder to find the time, resources, and determination to be able to perform, record and release the music .

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
By day, I work as a consultant in the transportation industry, specializing in utilities. By night and on weekends, you’ll often find me rehearsing , recording performing with my band somewhere.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
