Community Highlights: Meet Carol Whitaker of Carol Whitaker Coaching

Today we’d like to introduce you to Carol Whitaker.

Hi Carol , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My story began with my own healing. As I learned to nurture my mind, body, and spirit together, I felt that I was getting my life back. That experience sparked a deep love for health and fitness. I modeled in high school and again after I married, eventually becoming a fitness model as a young mother.

From the beginning of my coaching career, I incorporated the mind and spirit into my approach to fitness. I believed that lasting transformation involved more than physical strength. When a woman heals from the inside out, she can also discover greater confidence, peace, and joy.

For more than 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of guiding women through some of the most significant seasons of their lives. In 2014, I became an author with the release of my book, “Ridiculously Happy! The Secret to Manifesting the Life & Body of Your Dreams.”

As a speaker, I’ve shared my message with women’s groups and audiences, as well as through interviews on KUTV 2 News, ABC4’s Good Things Utah, Boomer Talk Radio, DrLaura.com, and numerous podcasts.

Today, I’m a life coach for women in midlife, an author, and a motivational speaker. I work with women who are grateful for the lives they’ve built but feel a quiet knowing that there is still more waiting for them. I help them reconnect with their inner wisdom, trust themselves, and step into what can become their greatest chapter.

Beyond my coaching work, I love spending time with horses. My equestrian life is a meaningful part of who I am and a part of my story that I hold close to my heart.

I’ve been happily married for 35 years. I’m a mother of three amazing children and a proud Gigi. My family and my faith are at the heart of everything I do. I strive to live a life of purpose and happiness.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it hasn’t always been a smooth road. In my teens and early twenties, I faced chronic fatigue syndrome and the Epstein-Barr virus. That was a difficult season, but it became the beginning of my healing journey and shaped the work I do today. Prayer, faith, and learning to nurture my mind, body, and spirit were central to finding my way forward.

I’ve also faced challenges and transitions in my career. For years, my business partners and I built beautiful custom homes while I continued coaching. When that chapter closed, I had to trust God to guide me toward something new. Starting again meant moving forward without having every answer.

Those experiences deepened my understanding of what it takes to rebuild, reconnect with the sovereignty within, and rediscover purpose. They’re part of why helping women in midlife is so meaningful to me. I know what it’s like to face an uncertain next chapter. I also know that a difficult ending can open the door to something new, exciting, and beautiful.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Carol Whitaker Coaching ?
As a life coach, I guide women in midlife to reconnect with their inner wisdom, trust their voice, and create a meaningful next chapter. Many of the women I work with are grateful for the lives they’ve built, yet feel a quiet knowing that there is more they want to experience, express, or become.

My faith is at the heart of my work. I bring mind, body, and spirit together, drawing on my own healing journey and more than 20 years of coaching experience. I believe meaningful change begins within, as we recognize our worth and take steps that honor who we are and what matters most.

I’m most proud of the transformations in my clients. Seeing a woman believe in herself again, honor her needs, and move forward with greater purpose, peace, and joy is deeply rewarding.

I want women to know they can love the life they’ve built and still feel called toward more. Their next chapter can be filled with happiness, purpose, and adventure.

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Something people may not know about me is that I’ve experienced health challenges, self-doubt, and anxiety. My passion for helping women reconnect with their inner strength and find peace and joy comes, in part, from my own healing journey.

My faith and positivity sustained me through those challenges and continues to shape the way I coach today. I understand how much it matters to feel valued and supported, and how deeply our mindset can influence the way we see ourselves and move through life.

I’m also an avid equestrian and adore my Friesian stallion, Dante the King. Our Facebook fan page brings together loyal fans from around the world. Over the past 20 years, my horses have taught me so much and brought unbridled inspiration to my life.
