Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandy Tilo.
Hi Brandy, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I joined the Navy immediately following high school and spent the next 11 years serving as a Hospital Corpsman. My husband and I were both on active duty, so that made it a bit problematic when kids came into the picture.
So, after 11 years, I decided not to re-enlist and instead go back to school. After finishing my degree, we moved around a bit more with my husband and his navy career. We ended up in Utah after having spent a few days there for a family reunion and fell in love with it. We packed everything up and built a house here.
Before this particular build, real estate had never crossed my mind as a career. Actually, I’d never even thought about real estate other than when purchasing a home. The builder who built our home asked me to help them in their office, and after working with them for a little while, I decided to get my license.
I spent my first 2 years in real estate selling land and lots. I actually didn’t sell a home for almost 2 years into my career. I loved selling land and lots as our city was pretty new at the time and there was tons of vacant land to sell.
That first year I sold 27 properties and realized that I not only loved real estate, but I could make money doing it and it would be a great career. That was 10 years ago and I still love it as much today as I did my first year.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
The challenge is keeping up with the demand as Utah continues to grow and more and more people move to our beautiful state. But I’m definitely not complaining.

I am a residential REALTOR specializing in Utah County properties as a large percentage of my business is here in Saratoga Springs. Most of my career has been listing or selling homes. I really enjoy the listing side of the business. I also have quite a bit of experience in new construction as I’ve worked for a few different builders over the years and love the idea of watching a client’s dreams become reality. It’s extremely rewarding and fun to see come to life. I do work with buyers and especially like working with first-time buyers. They are super excited about the process and make what I do so much fun. But, the absolute best thing about my business is working with veterans, active duty, and our first responders. Helping them achieve home ownership is amazing!
