Hi Taylor, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
My brother and I have been installing security systems since the beginning of 2009. Over the years, we came across many customers that wanted security cameras, but they didn’t want the security system or monthly monitoring fees.
We realized that that’s exactly what we would want if we were in those customers’ shoes. Fast forward countless hours of research, listening to audiobooks and watching YouTube videos on how to start a business, and The Camera Pros was born.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There have been constant challenges along the way. Building a business has been the most challenging/rewarding thing I’ve ever done. First off, it was started in March 2020 right when Covid hit.
I had just moved back from Hawaii and the world was going through drastic changes. It was extremely hard figuring out how to build our brand and reputation from nothing, making it especially hard to acquire new customers.
I couldn’t have done it without the help of many different friends/family and the circumstances surrounding its inception.

Our bread and butter are installing 4K hard wired security camera systems for both residential and commercial customers.
Some of our other services include running new network lines, home theater, and TV mounting. We take pride in ourselves, the genuine relationships strive to build with our customers, being the best security camera installers in Utah and being able to have the best prices from still being a small business.
