Today we’d like to introduce you to Joanna Jones.
Hi Joanna, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I grew up in a small town, in a family of 10 and we didn’t have much! I was on my own at 16 working 2 jobs to support myself! I then met my husband while I was working one of those jobs! We have 2 kids and have been married 15 years!
I wanted to show my kids that if you want things in life you have to work for them! I have worked for other people my whole life, I never felt valued as an employee or even a person. I started Fabulous House Cleaning in 2017 after working for another cleaning company that took advantage of their customers and employees! My customers aren’t just customers, they are our second family! I’m always looking forward to seeing them and I’m sure they feel the same!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Things in the beginning were crazy! In a matter of a few days we blew up! It was a struggle to balance running a business and being a mother and wife! It has been pretty smooth sailing with a few bumps her or there!
