Daily Inspiration: Meet Audra Lloyd

Today we’d like to introduce you to Audra Lloyd.

Hi Audra, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
After 10 years with a job that was not fulfilling, I decided to get my real estate license in 2019. I was scared, scared of the unknown! I jumped in full-hearted and never look back.

I had success quickly and my first client at the time didn’t know they were my first. The snowball just kept rolling after that. Last year, I sold just over $12.2 M in real estate and enjoyed every minute of helping my wonderful clients.

This career has its ups and downs and I have learned to be strong. I truly love helping people and am willing to take on any challenge.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
You don’t always win every deal. During the last couple of years, we have had many disappointments with the bid wars. I very quickly learned how to write a strong offer and was able to win offers for my buyers.

The lack of inventory has been a huge impact on many buyers.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
During the year, I take time to do things to give back to my clients and community. For Thanksgiving, I delivered over 50 pumpkin pies to my clients. Also, I sponsored an Easter Egg for 100 families in my neighborhood.

I want people to know I love and appreciate them. The connection with people is important.

What do you think about happiness?
I enjoy spending time with family. I love having people over and cooking a meal. I have 3 dogs that keep me on my toes. I love camping, hiking, golfing, and cooking.
