Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Israelsson.
Hi Sarah, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My name is Sarah Israelsson. I was born and raised in Boise, Idaho where I met my husband, then moved to Utah where we are raising two beautiful daughters.
Looking back at being in a new state with new friends and family, I had a lot of support and was able to follow my passion as a hairstylist. I never expected it would turn into the career of my dreams. Over my 15 years as a hairstylist I have been inspired to continue my education, in the last five years, specializing in blondes and living in color.
My desire for learning helps me keep up on the newest techniques, thus allowing me to pass them on to my clients. I am grateful to have a career that I love which enables me to spend time with such amazing clients, making them feel beautiful and confident!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road to where I am currently. About five years ago, after having my first daughter, I was feeling burnt out and overwhelmed, didn’t have the drive that I had once had.
I almost left the industry altogether, until I found the motivation that I was looking for and it relit a passion in me so blessed for that.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
A hairstylist, specializing in Blondes and Lived in color.
I strive to keep my hair healthy and beautiful. Having such a strong dedication to furthering my education allows me to bring new and different techniques to my clients.
Also being able to have amazing friendships with my clients and help them more confident and beautiful!
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
The desire to continue to be better every day.
