Today we’d like to introduce you to Megan Hunt.
Hi Megan, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
For as long as I can remember I have been drawn to people! Their stories, their energy, and mostly what I can do to connect and serve them. I started in the beauty industry over 12 years ago with a dream to build a gathering place for total wellness and cosmetic care. After 8 years of designing and saving in 2020, I was preparing to break ground on my building when my daughter was in a terrible accident and was severely burned on 18% of her little body. We spent 56 days in the ICU Burn trauma center at the University of Utah hospital undergoing many surgeries and treatments. Little did I know this situation would inspire my next major undertaking and escalate my current salon /spa dreams into a whole new realm. In March of 2021, we launched our 501c3 nonprofit “R.A.W. Foundation” (real authentic warriors) dedicated to servicing, empowering, and showering burn and trauma survivors. Our foundation has now gone global with one of our projects (The RAW Box Project) and my now beautifully completed salon/spa and barber shop is now the host location for our foundation headquarters and our newest project the RAW Challenge. A retreat, all-expense paid experience for a burn or trauma survivor and a loved one to spend a week with us receiving all salon/spa treatments, custom outdoor experiences and photo shoot all while being filmed by our video team to tell their story and share their truths! I am so grateful for the amazing places my dreams and many life experiences have take me and look forward to growing my dreams and goals even bigger!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No road worth traversing will ever be smooth, that’s what makes it so interesting and empowering! Finacial roadblocks have been in surplus it seams a leg up in that refused can be quite difficult to find. But with a level of determination and no allowance of quit, you will always find a way! Time and balance of dreams and reality is also a real struggle but those quite early hours before the sun even wakes are the golden hours for productive growth and momentum!

I am a licensed cosmetologist/barber and professional cosmetologist instructor!
I love educating and have traveled all over the country teaching salon business management, industry skills and techniques and personal growth, development, and stability.
I recently have become a key-note speaker and enjoy connecting with my audiences providing hope, motivation and inspiration.
I am most proud of being a mother to 4 amazing babies and a wife to the most incredible and supportive man! They are my “why” every second of every day!
What matters most to you? Why?
My family, my faith, and my values! My family is my constant support system. They never stop believing in me and never allow me to quit even when I’m ready to give up! My faith keeps me centered and gives me guidance, direction, and inspiration. My values are my core, my character the thing that sets me apart from so many! I have a work ethic far above most and know that the only limitation one has in this life is themself! You can do be and have anything you set your mind to and work every day for!
