Hi Chris, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
I have started and failed multiple businesses since I was 18 years old.
I have also had various jobs before finally finding a business I love, and that has become successful and has tons of potential. ONYX RENTALS has been steadily growing and will dominate the Utah Market in Luxury and Exotic Rentals and it is the first and only exotic rental company in the state.
One thing I learned is that you need to continue to fail until you finally don’t.
I started off with a single car just under 1 year ago. With a fleet of 9, valued at over $800k, it consists of a Ferrari, Bentley, Porsche, and others!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Building the first Luxury & Exotic Car Rentals business was a challenge because there was no one to copy. We needed to be creative and come up with all the marketing ideas, vehicle choices, and target audience ourselves.
To us, Utah seemed ready for this type of business to enter the market, even if it didn’t know it.
We have trained and prepared our customers to realize that you can rent an exotic vehicle in Utah. Is not just Vegas and Miami anymore.
We’ve been impressed with ONYX RENTALS, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are the only business in Utah offering high-end vehicles to our clients. All our vehicles can be viewed and booked on our website and Instagram.
We offer delivery options directly to your resort, Airbnb, or right to the airport as soon as your flight lands. We will also pick up the vehicle at any location you would prefer, 24/7.
What does success mean to you?
Freedom is a success. Wealth and time are what give you freedom. Being able to spend time with family and do what you enjoy is freedom.
Being able to help others grow in their personal and professional lives is also another form of success.
