Today we’d like to introduce you to Elyse Brady.
Hi Elyse, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Over 11 years ago, I was physically and emotionally in the worst place, i was exhausted all the time and really needed to work on my health. So I did my research and found a way to change all of that! Through that I literally changed my entire life, I lost 40lbs, gained my energy and have been able to keep up on that ever since, even during having children! Which lead me to health coaching and coaching others to do the same thing!
Ultimately, I found that people in general would rather have someone else help them make their food. I also found that here in Davis County, we really did not have any healthy options! So I decided to bring these products and my love for nutrition and energy to Davis County and open a protein and clean energy shop and make nutrition fun again for our community! From that came Creating The Habit Nutrition!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely has not always been a smooth road, as with any small business, we have had and continue to work to bring customers in and always work to improve for them! As any small business, we’ve struggled with staffing, with all the changes that were brought from Covid, and the world of other people’s opinions. However, through all of that, I truly believe that has made us stronger and we have grown and continue to evolve because of that!
We’ve been impressed with Creating The Habit Nutrition, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We’re not just another drink shop like some may think! We specialize in the meal replacement protein shakes, clean energy, protein coffee, hydration drinks, sports nutrition, and kids nutrition! We work really hard to have nutrition taste good and be fun for everyone on the go! Making sure your daily nutrition is on point no matter what and you feel good getting it! We also pride ourselves in making sure anyone who comes through our door is a part of our family and feels welcome, cared about! Our Customers are not just a number to us, they are family and we want to know all about them!
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
There are so many people who have played a role in this! I personally have had multiple mentors cheer me on, I’ve had a team that pushes me to grow, thinks outside the box. My husband, who may have thought I was crazy at first, stand by me through it all! And today our community and team are some of my absolute favorite parts!
