Hidden Gems: Meet Eslee Hernandez of Vindictive

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eslee Hernandez.

Hi Eslee, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
When I was a little girl, I always had a passion for fashion. I always loved modeling and was even part of a runway. This love grew and now I have a boutique called Vindictive where I sell women’s clothing, heels and other accessories for women. Vindictive is Latina Owned which is something I am proud of.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I think definitely a struggle is the commitment and consistency, there are times when I just wanted to give up and act like I never started anything in the first place. Life definitely shows up, you have struggles like “Am I ever going to make a sell?” Or just not seeing any growth. But growing a business takes time, and just never giving up even if you have to take a pause.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Vindictive Boutique is all about fashion. We sell dresses, casual outfits, night out and even heels! We also do our own unique collection of eyelashes. Our eyelashes are all synthetic so it does not harm any animal while still looking so dramatic & beautiful. Something that sets us apart from others, is our goals that are on the making! We are working with designers including myself the CEO as a designer to start creating gowns and other hand made designs to offer. We also are creating beautiful heels and the creativity is out the roof. We strive to make you look your best! We are also working really hard to get our location opened by end of the year!

What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory is being in front of the ocean in Telchac Puerto, Merida Yucatán. I Can still feel the sand around me, the sound of the waves and how warm the sun is. I could close my eyes and relax and I could also swim and notice the beautiful fishes and turtles.
