Today we’d like to introduce you to Jo Greenwood.
Hi Jo, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My first love is organization! I pursued a degree in Finance and spent many years working as an accountant, while also being the best mom on the planet to my four kids! I love numbers, google sheets and balancing spreadsheets. Nothing is more satisfying to me than organizing numbers into beautiful balance sheets and ledgers! In 2020, I stepped away from my position as the accountant for Revel Race Series, a marathon company. I also love to run marathons. In 2021 I launched Organized With Jo, my home organization company, Second to spreadsheets I love organizing my home. I have spent the last 18 months sharing my skills for organizing with the world! Unfortunately, I do not love social media and I kind of suck at it, so I need more skills in that area, or to just hire an assistant!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I do not have strong skills in promoting my business and building a social media following. I could organize all day every day, but the photography, posts, promoting and other elements of building my business has held me back.
We’ve been impressed with Organized With Jo, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Organized With Jo is a home organization company. I offer full-service home organization. I specialize in pantry and kitchen spaces, but can organize any space in your home/garage/office. I am scrappy and don’t mind the tedious nature of sorting through and finding the best home for each item in the space.
