Hidden Gems: Meet Arianny Valles of Arianny Rocks

Today we’d like to introduce you to Arianny Valles.

Hi Arianny, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’m from Coro, Venezuela. After 44 years of life and a prolific career as a radio voice-over and advertiser in different cities in my Country (Coro, Valencia, Caracas).

It has been four years since my definitive arrival in the United States. A journey full of growth, learning, joys, and opportunities.

The first two years were spent adapting, getting to know the culture, and finding myself in a different scenario. This adaptation was not easy. However, the attention of my brother and his family in a loving and supportive environment helped me a lot. As well as the support of two Venezuelan friends to whom I am grateful: Samira Jabbar and Angelica Segovia.

During that time, I met my husband, Charles, who has been a blessing in my life and my most significant support. As well as many people in the Hispanic community that I currently serve.

In January 2021, without having much clarity about what I wanted to do, I registered my company Arianny Rocks, and in May of the same year, I officially started operations as a Digital Marketing Agency specializing in creating organic content for social media of small Hispanic businesses.

Currently, through my company, I serve the public in different ways: offering content creation services (videos, designs, production assistance for online shows and podcasts, etc.), I provide consulting services to small entrepreneurs, and I have created a premium training program with which I have had the joy of empowering so far 25 entrepreneurs with communication tools, skills development and an educational system in which they progressively learn from the philosophical foundations of their businesses to the strategic use of applications to create content.

I also work with marketing agencies creating content in Spanish, I volunteer as Communications Director for Casa Venezuela Arizona, I co-host the online show Prensa Arizona Live for the most important Hispanic publication in the Phoenix area (Prensa Arizona), I have also collaborated with the digital information platform Conecta Arizona.

And after graduating from the Fuerza Local Business Accelerator, I continue to support that organization as a master of ceremonies and instructor in marketing and communications for new generations of entrepreneurs.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
The language has been the biggest challenge in this journey and the beginning of a new life as a migrant, far from home, family, and friends. And from a lifestyle that I loved.

And personally, it has been a time of deep self-observation and re-invention attached to my career and profession. It has not been easy to make my way as a communicator and now entrepreneur.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Arianny Rocks?

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I have made many mistakes in my life, fortunately. That has happened because I like to listen to my heart and pursue my dreams.

Yes, I am very daring and I like to take risks. I am one of those people who prefer to say: “I made a mistake” than to stay with the desire to do or try something.

If mistakes were gold bullion, I would have more gold than the national reserve. LOL
