Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalie Barlow.
Hi Natalie, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
I am a self-taught seamstress and I have been sewing for over 13 years. I have always wanted to open my own business sewing baby clothes, but I always held myself back. In 2022 I decided to go for it, and I officially opened an Etsy shop for handmade little girls’ clothing last June. I have five girls of my own and I can’t seem to find clothing in stores that we like or fit them properly, we look for more modest clothing with them being so little, so making little girls’ clothing seemed to be the right fit.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
There have been a lot of learning curves since I’ve started. I shop for fabric online because there’s not a lot of fabric store options locally and a lot of times when the fabric arrives it’s not what I thought it was or the color is completely off, so then I have to purchase more fabric

We make high-quality clothing for little girls. Our items are stylish and modest, which a lot of retailers don’t offer with the current trends. Our twirl dresses are very popular; most little girls love to have a big spin with their dresses. Currently, all of our items are made-to-order on our website. We also do custom orders if you see something you like and want a different color or fit, just message us.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
I loved spending Christmas at my grandparents’ house with all of my cousins and family. The house was so full of people we unwrapped presents in the kitchen.
